Challenge Cup Season 2: Begins March 1st IMPORTANT CHANGES

We are wrapping up the Champions Cup a bit earlier than
expected. Forsyth has run away with the comp and won't be
caught. Congratulations Forsyth, you are a deserving Champion.
You will be notified of your prize soon! ;)
From March the new CC season will begin. This will be a new and
exciting concept. The key changes will be:
1. You choose any team you want! Once you pick a team you have
to stay that team until....
2. There will be a transfer window where you will be allowed to
change your team.
The transfer window will be for one change every Monday. What
this means is if you have played as another team after Monday
then you have to stay as that team until the following Monday.
So chose your team wisely. If you have decided to change teams
you will be required to state this in your 'Personal Challenge'
thread so we can keep track of who you are.
3. Custom teams are available and encouraged to take part.
4. Ten and Twenty minute games will be optional with
restrictions put in place to benefit 20 minute game players
The Team Challenge threads will go and be replaced by 'user
challenge' threads ie "benz1980i Challenge".
More details will follow. Sign up below and create your 'user
name Challenge' thread. Also think about what team you would
like to be. There are no restrictions on teams so its okay to
have 7 Warriors teams. You may want to boost your players stats
and customise them to your playing style
UPDATE
The Challenge Points system is going to change for season 2.
* There will be points on offer just for playing. When playing a
10 minute game there will be 10 points. The points will not be
deducted from the loser.
When playing a 20 minute game 20 points will apply which will
also not be deducted. They are your 'safe points'.
* You will be able to Challenge using your own personal points.
Personal CC points will be capped at 20 for a 10 minute game
(meaning you can't CC someone more than 20 points a game)
* 20 minute games will have no cap.
Explanation:
If you hit someone up for a CC game (10 mins) then you will be
playing for 10 safe points. The winner takes 10 and the loser
loses nothing.
If you CC someone for the maximum 20 points then the winner will
take the 10 safety points and the 20 from his opponent. The
loser will lose 20.
If you decide to play a 20 min game then you will be playing for
20 safety points. The winner will take 20 while the loser loses
nothing.
If you want to CC 30 points then the winner will take the 20
safety points and the 30 personal points for a total of 50
points.
* After you have reached your 200 points to claim a Challenge
Cup competition point your hard earned points will not reset.
You will continue to build your points up and they will be
displayed on the ladder as a badge of pride (as such). You will
claim a CC point at 200, 400, 600 etc etc
Teams begin with 50 points!

Another thing. Points will reset next month for the new season.
So if you are sitting on 190 points try and get your final 10 to
claim a competition point before Friday.
Everyone will start with 50 for the new season. I will be
visiting for your golden handshakes for next season. Create your
own personal challenge threads! ;)

What happens if you get to 200 points and get your challenge cup
point, and then lose all 200 points, and then win back 200
points. Do you still need to get to 400 to get your next
challenge point?
And can Ace and me play with the same custom team for this?

Shredder; you will gain a point for every 200 you gain so if
that were to happen then it would be okay. Just so long as
everyone is keeping track of their gains and loses.
You can both play as they same team.
