*Welcome to the Custom League*

The Custom Team League is officially announced and scheduled to
start early April after the Division 1 Grand Final!!
Guidelines:
Team Selection
-You may choose from any of the licensed teams available or
create your own custom team i.e "Adelaide Aces" to coach as your
chosen team for the season.
-You may also buddy up (max 2 per team) with another coach to
share the coaching/playing/team creation duties with. This is
not compulsory, but recommended, as this will greatly assist
with the hours you may spend on your player creation. It will
also assist the comp from players going inactive and boost
morale for each game, since your playing for 2 ppl now!
-Limit of 1 licensed team per coaching group. We can't have 12
bulldogs teams running around. So nominate your team in the sign
up section ASAP so you snag your favourite! Shredder and I are
taking QLD Maroons -the commentary name is "Queensland", jersey
QLD and icon is QLD. -These three identifiable features will be
locked in for us. However -if ur clever -you may make a
"Kingsland Blood-Reds" team with a similar icon, commentary name
and create ur own jersey that's similar.
-Manly seems to be one of those high demand teams, so we may see
"Freshwater Sea Hawks" and Curl Curl Seagulls etc pop up ;).
Player Selection & Creation
-Each team will be required to register their 30 man squad
throughout the season. Players may be dropped/altered and
replaced at any time, but the changes must be noted in each
coaches "team" thread.
-You may create your own unique players from James Bond to Lori
Dailey to yourself. However, we will be limiting the number of
exact players in the comp to 2. So two teams may have Billy
Slater, but you may not have Billy Slater twice on your team.
Once again you may "cheat this" by creating similar players. But
the differences must be: Name and commentary name. Ie: Billy
Slater, Billy The-Kid etc.
-You may love your licensed team just the way it is, so feel
free to keep it simple and just beef the stats for each player
-The stats on average is 80-85% for max so allocate and tailor
each players skills to your liking!
Game Settings
Game Type: Casual
Length: 20 minutes
Teams: Custom teams only
Difficulty: Veteran
Interchange: 12
Injuries: Extreme
Weather: Random
Wind: ON
Stadium: Home teams choice
Injuries
-Injured players will be randomly assigned to 0-3 weeks from the
bench. We will have an injury moderator keeping tabs on this and
listing the injuries & how long the player will be benched for.
With an all class bench to choose from, this wont hurt coaches
too badly. Most players will be somewhat injury proof, which is
why we have bumped it to extreme for this comp.
-You will not be allows to swap out players that become injured
for new recruits. Eg: If Kurt Gidley cops a knee injury for 3
weeks. You will not be able to swap him out for "Gurt Kidley"
his incest brother until the 3 week period has ended.

Prizes
There will be a minor prize for the winner of the Grand Final
from our prize pool, but this may grow! Stay tuned
Essentially what this comp has been designed for is to bring a
different game to RLL2, whilst countering some problems that
that other divisions have encountered and making the game more
of a rugby league simulator, than some of the arcade style score
lines of 54-60 or 72-6 u can see. Veteran mode was carefully
inserted in order to assist with slowing down the lighting fast
okay the balls which leads to way too many tries! Whilst still
being realistic enough to be penalized after 2 seconds of hold
downs. This aids tremendously with shutting out 1 set tries from
each kick off and brings back the arm wrestle.
From the initial tests it's looking pretty good, but we will
have many pre season trial matches and smooth out any
necessities in the coming weeks.
In the meantime find a buddy and start coming up with your
ultimate dream team! If there are any other player creation
artists like me that are willing to help make some of the footy
legends please post below. I'll charge 10 cc pts per player made

So it is going to be a full season with a draw?
How many rounds?
Do we add new members to the draw as they come along?
What happens if a team drops out?
I am looking forward to this comp. I have a team in mind.

Good question. Will need to edit these rules and try and balance
this! The idea is to have maybe 10 teams and do 10 rds

Hey buddy welcome!
Make a new post here with ur 17-30man squad and start adding psn
names of players. There are 4 comps going ATM, 2 are full (NRL
licensed comps) and the custom league is registering. So
nominate ur team and ur good to start playing pre season. Comps
kicking off marchish

Guys juat be aware that you can just create a team using the
players already in the game. Choose your fav playerd and boost
their stats to yourbliking.

So i've got a 17 man squad right so if i get an injured player
out for 0-3 weeks can i replace him with another player
(obviously not the same or re-arranged) ? having 17 players is
just more simple to manage

Yeh mate,
Anyone can join! -Just name your 25-30 man sqaud/team name in a
new thread and get some pre-season goodness in. We will start
at the end of the finals for seas1 -So end of March most likely.
