Round 12: SEA EAGLES Vs SHARKS
By: benz1980i Date: February 15, 2013, 10:51 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Two old foes meet again in the clash between Benz and Nath. Both
coaches have a long history spanning back to the ill fated
original rll2 NRL comp.
The sharks have turned their season around after their round 9
70-0 drubbing at the hands of the Dragons. With consecutive
convincing wins against good opposition the Sharks are sitting
inside the 8 by a small margin. With 6 teams biting at their
fins they will be determined to continue their good form.

I would honestly tip the Sharks by 20. My form is deserving of
group 11 country wooden spooners

Jason King was injured for Manly.
This was a great contest. The sharks shot away to a 18-6 half
time lead. Manly began the second half with a bang after coach
Benz tore into his team in the sheds.
The scores were level at 18 all after Manly showed plenty of
spirit. The game became try after try with each team aiming for
that final knock out blow. Two final conversions proved criticle
which sent the game into golden point. This was Manlys second
golden point game in a row. The Sharks proved to be a worthy
winner with Manly holding on by the skin of their teeth.
Gallan was inspirational for his team showing why he is the
toughest player in the comp. He was injured in the early moments
of the game but stayed on the paddock for another 60 minutes
without missing a beat.

Sharks coach Nath had this to say
We were very lucky with the win today. It wasn't pretty but it
was a hard fought contest and we will gladly take the points.
I was very happy with Besty and Robbo as our best backs today.
Robbo was all class grubberin through the defence and
regathering a number if times but we need a guys to get up with
him to take an offload. Our captain was injured and will be
missed next week but Matty Wright was also hurt but we have some
good centres who will be able to full his shoes
Isaac Gorden will come into the side on the wing and Pommers
will get back in his favours position
Replacing Paul will be hard but we have faith in Jason Bukuya to
have a real dig
Our captain will be Jeremy Smith
