At the moment i am without power after the storm on saturday
knocked out powerlines in my street. Im hopingto find it back on
when i get home from work. Getting bored of playing board games
by candlelight with my housemate. I'll let you know how i get on
mr forsyth. At worst i will have to sub. But i teckon it should
be good by the weekend. Fingers crossed they get to it today.
But they have a bit of work to get through. There were trees
down everywhere on the way to work this morning.

are Mr Forsyth. Your on a lot of the time like me so I'm sure
I'll see you online. Any particular time you think you get the
best connections?

This match of the round saw two teams turn up with all
intentions of keeping there positions in the eight. The Raiders
travelling down to AAMI Park intending to keep there position in
the top two. While the storm desperate for a win to keep inside
the eight.
The first half saw a tight defensive game with both teams
kicking for territory and trying to hold it. The Raiders first
to post points and looked for all money likely to take the lead
into the break. But a couple of mistakes trying to come away
from their own line just before half time saw the Storm level
the scores. Mebourne throwing their big men at the line to crash
over twice before half time. Half time score 18 all.

The second half saw a brutal contest with the Storm showing what
their gameplan intention was ... Try to smash the Raiders off
the park.
After twenty minutes of the Storm players throwing their bodies
at the Raiders defence, some collisions heard from Saint Kilda
Beach, the scores were still level at 24 all. Brett White while
trying to put a big hit on Jason Ryles fell into a shoulder
charge and had to leave the field with concussion. The Storm
though this was there chance to overcome the Grand Final
favourites. But the loss of Brett White only strengthened the
Raiders resolve coming home in the last 20 minutes. In the end,
clever ball movement won out over brutality. With brilliantly
executed set plays and players running on to passes with great
lines the Raiders carved up the humiliated and tiring Storm
defence.
Final score Raiders 48 Storm 30
Injuries- G. Widdop(Storm) B. White (Raiders)
When asked what he though of the teams performance coach
shredder said he was proud of the boys performance for the first
sixty minutes especially in defence. But is worried that if they
don't get there fitness levels up to play the full 80 minutes
they won't be able to threaten the top 8. This weeks training
will have his team running up Mount Buller in the snow with
heavy backpacks on.
And as for the Raiders. They look every bit a premiership
winning side and will be hard to stop in the finals.
