last weeks thriller vs the Bronx?

The Storm are looking forward to travelling to Dairy Farmers for
this game marking there 7th and last game on the road this year.
Cam Smith upbeat about the teams progress. "Yeh when I saw the
draw come out before season start I said 'Shit. We've been
bloody screwed by those Sydney C****!' But were just taking it
one game at a time and looking forward to our final on the road
hitout and getting back to the worlds most liveable city that is
Melbourne. Personally I have been missing the everyday life you
get down there. Where you can go out and get into mischief and
play up without anyone knowing who you are. If you want to stand
up on the bar and urinate on someone for a laugh you can. They
don't even put league on tv down there till everyone has gone to
bed. It's a luxury our club has over the others. ."

The Storm came to Dairy Farmers in both forms when these two
sides met for their round seven clash. Pouring rain not
deterring ball movement with both teams passing skills on
display.
The Cowboys first to post points. Thurston putting a well timed
grubber through for Ash Graham to pounce on. But the storm hit
back with a try minutes later. The game turning into an wrestle
with both teams only being able to get a try ahead before the
scores would level again. Going in at half time 12 all.
The second half saw some creative and desperate defence from
both teams. Chicken wings, choker holds, hammerlocks would rule
the game till someone gave in. Eventually that came when James
Tamou was penalised for for giving Cooper Cronk a Piledriver.
The penalty giving the opposition a set of six thirty metres out
from the cowboys line.
The Storm took that chance to get 2 tries ahead with 10 minutes
to go in the game. From that position the Storm were able to
coast home. Final Score 36 - 18.
"It always gets brought up when we come up here about wrestling
tactics." Billy Slater said after the game. "I'm sick of it. And
the fact the club hired Hulk Hogan as our tackling coach has
nothing to do with how we play our game. We're not doing
anything that any of the other clubs aren't doing. Were just
doing it better. ......I mean were better at doing what's not
happening in the first place. ...The wrestling I mean..... Which
were not doing"
