Broncos start solid but a defense laps in the middle of the game
gave manly 4 quick tries and the catchup was marred by some
manly pressure and class to finish bris off in the 2d half at
leichhardt oval
Coach AceAv says "we spent a good week preparing and coming up
witha game plan, but knew manly would throw everything they
possibly could us to throw us off. Some really poor lapses in
the 25th til the 60th really put us behind and a Manly outfit
this good isn't going to give you a second chance. We'll regroup
and go over the footage & bounce back in Melbourne hopefully."

Full time score Manly 46-16. It was a game where errors were
costly. Both teams went hard with several big hits being pulled
off. Big Sammy was as always a hand full. When every he had the
ball I would try to get as many blokes in on him as possible.
