I refer to my kids as characters from Mario Bros... Mario,
Peach, Luigi. If I have any more kids, I can have a Yoshi,
       Daisy, Toad...

Rainha, you could just call him the Badger. ;D
In our family, my Dad is sometimes called "Yolanda." My parents
have very reversed gender roles - my Dad cooks & cleans, and my
Mom's in charge of the yards and car maintenance. Dad was once
yelling "My name is NOT Yolanda! I am not your maid!" when he
was feeling a bit put upon. The name stuck.
My elder sister is sometimes "Elvira", I have no idea why. I
think it's a reference to the song, not the Mistress of the
Dark. She's also often referred to as "Frau LastName" because
she's very no-nonsense and efficient, like a good German
engineer. A place for everything, and everything in its place.
       Einz zwei, einz zwei.
The more I think of it, the more I'm leaning to renaming my DH
"The Cap'n." It really does suit him.

I usually refer to my husband as DocMatt when in company,
because there are about eight million Matts in our circle of
friends. He likes DocX for the Megaman connotations, and because
he goes by X in Belegarth.

The one who used to be my spouse is now The Former.
Jerkoid is my nephew, 5.2 is his wife. Oldest Niece, Middle
Niece and Youngest Niece are, obviously, my nieces.

I like Nerdboy for the spouse. The midget is DD and DS is Spawn.

I imagine that I'll continue to call my fiance Wally (recently
engaged). Considering that I've called him that a few times when
talking to friends online that have actually MET him and know
his real name, it's easier to stick with what I've called him in
the past. I'd just confuse people if I were to try to change his
name to something else, and then slip and call him Wally in the
       same post.

I think that this time around, I'm just going to stick with DH
and DS or the kid. I still use the previous nicknames on my
blog, but that's for obfuscation purposes, and they're just
       bulky.

I call my husband Pie. That came about by shortening sweetie
       pie/baby pie/etc.

I call my partner Z (short for Ezra), and we tend to call the
kids by their full names when talking to them, but when we are
talking about them, we tend to use just the first letter of
their first name (so H for Hazel, W or Dubs for Walter, and L
       for Leo...)

I called fiance PocketWatch on the other forum but mostly
because I didn't think FondleDong (which I usually call him)
       would fly.
We call each other a lot of names. We have the Ongoing
Adventures of BonerTache and FondleDong (I'm the former), I call
him England pretty often, Babushkina in text messages and a
variety of laser sounds. He calls me the Harbinger of
Ornithological Demise and a variety of other anatomy based
       nicknames.
We might be 12 year olds. With dictionaries.
Would anybody be offended if I referred to him as FondleDong or
FD here? If so, I'll think of something else.
