Skyrim!

All right I'm christening the gaming folder with Skyrim.
So tell me the most ridiculous, fun or crazy part of your
playing experience so far.
I got married and the idiot disappeared 2 seconds after (you'd
think he'd want to at least get to the honeymoon portion) so I'm
hoping he'll pop back up when I finish the mages quest.
I was just about to start the Azura star quest when I found sale
prices on Sim 3 stuff and got distracted. Any helpful hints on
that one?

What's this game like? I have heard so much about it and
everyone seems to like it but I don't know if i would like it or
not. Is there a lot of eye hand coordination? I'm not great
with that but I like games with quests and stuff.

Whoa, you can get married in Skyrim? We just got our first
Playstation this Christmas, so I thought I'd try Oblivion before
Skyrim. I'm totally addicted to it, but it sounds like Skyrim's
pretty cool. My BIL said you can pickpocket the armour and
weapons off people before you attack them, is that right?

You can pickpocket armour and weapons off people if you have the
right perks. It doesn't always work but when it does it's
pretty awesome. :)
Nothing too hilarious has happened on any of my files but my
latest one is full of hagravens randomly falling out of the sky.

HighPriestess (sorry having problems with the quote function) -
It is a lot to get used to if you've never played the series, or
especially if you're new to RPG's. But it's seriously awesome
and once you get used to the controls, I don't think it requires
amazing hand-eye coordination. It also has various difficulty
levels. The scenery is outright amazing. You could have fun
just wandering around picking flowers and checking out the sky.
I didn't really have anything funny happen that wasn't scripted
as funny. But I do love Barbos ;)

My husband plays this thing incessantly. I play WoW so I let
him. But I'm getting a little tired of, if I am not gaming and
want to watch TV/a movie, I am banished to the bedroom b/c he's
Skyrimming.
That said, as soon as he's done with it I'll be giving it a try
:)

Oh, I love this game. Lisella, have you tried waiting a couple
of days and then going back to the Temple of Mara, that's what
worked for me when my spouse disappeared. I like all of the
twists and turns that this game has, and my husband and I are
playing simultaneously, with two different stories going on. For
example, I'm an Imperial and he's a Stormcloak. He joined the
Dark Brotherhood, and I killed Astrid the first time she
appeared to me.
The Azura Star quest was pretty easy from what I remember.

I think I went back to Mara but not sure how much time had
passed. I also went to the Mages college (where he lived before
the marriage). I'll have to try the temple again.
Your post reminded me of another funny thing in Skyrim. I did
the quest that leads to the dark brotherhood kidnapping and
Astrid gave me the "choose one of these three" quest, so I did
it and one of my looted items was an executioner's hood. I gave
it to Lydia with a bunch of other stuff to carry (so that I
could sell later) and lo and behold she puts it on. So Lydia is
wandering around wearing an executioner's hood and seems to be
seeing just fine.
