       What's for dinner?

This is the thread that I loved best of all at e-hell. I'll kick
off-tonight I had a very simple dish of wholewheat fusili (aka
spiral pasta) in a creamy mushroom garlic sauce, with flat leaf
parsley. So simple, yet so good. What did you have?

We're having butternut squash, sweet potato and chorizo soup as
       soon as it's ready.

I have no idea. I was thinking Swedish meatballs, but I realised
the only ingredient I have to make them is meatballs and I don't
want to stop at the store. So maybe fish sticks.

I had dinner at my parent's house, my dad 'cooked' so I had
burnt sausages and lumpy mash. Gravy was good though!

Baked salmon with bbq sauce, steamed broccoli with cheese sauce,
       and teeny weeny potatoes.

       Not at all.
Chop up some shallots fine, and fry in a bit of oil. Add few
finely chopped gloves of garlic, and fry until golden and
lovely, do not let brown too much. Add chopped up pieces of both
the squash and sweet potato and cover with chicken stock. Let
simmer until the vegetables are nice and tender. Liquidise the
vegetables and take back to the hob, add finely chopped pieces
of chorizo and let simmer for about five minutes. Add some smoky
paprika too. Finally add a dollop of crème fraische, stir
       through and enjoy.

I made a really good mac & cheese the other day with bacon and
onion so I'm going to reheat some of that with a spinach salad
(spinach, feta, crasins and some fat free cranberry dressing)
