Well, that sort of thing makes sense in BizarroWorld, but not so
much in real life. I think you were absolutely fine -- the
hostess should have marked anything she wanted to serve
specifically to the little ones as such, not just displayed it
with everything else.

How odd.

This, right here.

I can't quote, so I'm agreeing with the hypothetically yes, but
no because eggs are gross. If it's on the buffet it's fair game
& it would never occur to me that a quiche is for babies.

Yeah, that all sounded like the normal adult stuff. When I think
of kiddie food at birthdays, I imagine maybe carrot sticks,
crackers, and some sort of meat stuffed in a small tube. Not
mini quiches.

I agree with everyone else - none of that food screams "kids
only" especially not the quiche, I wouldn't think that a lot of
kids love broccoli.

I love me some quiche. Yum yum yum. I would have never thought
it was for the toddlers only - unless there was a sign. Which
there wasn't.

I'm sure a kid could eat quiche--though I'm unsure how a toddler
palate would feel about broccoli--but I would never dream that
it was only for the kiddies.

Silly, of course it was for the toddlers, it was called a MINI
quiche.
Yeah, no. You want food to be separate, you display it
separately.

I would have eaten the quiche. To think that mini quiches were
just for the babies is ridiculous- in my family, the kids don't
have a "special" food just for them, they just have food.
Unless, of course, the quiche is made with breast milk... then
the kids can keep it.

I would have eaten a quiche -- they don't say toddler food like
a platter of PB&J sandwiches or chicken nuggets would.
