I would have eaten them. I don't consider mini quiches toddler
food. My kids would have been eating the fruit salad because
they really love fruit and always have.

My daughter actually tried a mini quiche at my nephew's 1st
b-day party. She was a little over 1.5 years old. Granted I
don't think they were broccoli flavored but she did try one and
she liked it. That said I wouldn't think that they would be only
for the kids. I was actually shocked when she tried it.

I'd have thought of the fruit salad as being more for the little
kids than a quiche would be.
If the food was reserved, then it really needed to be properly
reserved with a sign or on a different table or something.

Actually I was surprised by the fruit salad because it was
chopped into tiny pieces and had things like blueberries (which
seem like choking hazards).
I wouldn't just done a bigger cut or kept things like
strawberries whole that way the kids would be able to have some
easily.

I used to serve my boys these little spinach quiche things that
came in a 2-pack frozen. So maybe if they bought "organic" baby
puffets (that's what the ones I bought were called), they
assumed everyone would know what they were?
yeah, I got nothin' .. that's dumb.

None of those foods seem particularly child-friendly, just
"regular" food. The only thing that would classify them as sort
of kid friendly is that they sound like finger food. Of course,
so are the muffins.
If I'd wanted a quiche, I would have eaten a quiche. Even if I
had to pry it out of a grubby little hand.

That is so silly! The quiche is one of the first things I would
have went for. I love quiche. As long as it doens't have
spinich. Spinich is the true evil. Popeye be damned

It's so weird of all the food I think of with toddlers - quiches
don't come up at all. And of all the foods that adults might
also assume they can eat...
Like I don't think some cheerios, cheese sticks and yogurt would
have garnered much attention from the grownups.

I would think any food on a buffet table was up for eating. How
odd.
