       DH talked to MIL. she is upset and hurt by the situation, and is
       right now taking a vacation in FL with other BIL. we haven't
       heard from her since and we are letting her be for now to lick
       her wounds so to speak. She never mentioned living with us, but
       DH and I are on the same page that a firm "that's not possible"
       will be in order should it come up again. DH has not spoken to
       SIL yet.

       So do you think she wanted to live with you guys and that's why
       she is hurt? Or is she hurt about SIL taking things into her own
       hands?
