How I Met Your Mother (*spoilers*)

So... Is anyone still watching? It's one of a few that I record
and actually watch regularly (unlike some others, which I record
and delete before watching because the DVR is getting too full
to record episodes of shows I actually watch).

I watch it, but I'm just not as into it as I used to be. I'm
irritated with the whole current storyline. Why in the world
did they have Ted profess his love for Robbin? They haven't
been together for years, and we really haven't seen that he's
been holding on to this great love. I feel like they pulled it
out of their asses to create a dramatic storyline. Boo!!!

I'm watching still! I actually like where the story is right
now. It's early, but I like Quinn and I wouldn't mind if she
were Barney's bride. OldTed did say to his kids "And that's how
we met Quinn," like she was someone they knew. You never know,
though.
I groaned a bit too when Ted confessed his feelings for Robin,
but I think it's significant that they broke up because they had
radically different 5-year-plans, yet they're still living
together 5 years later. Plus there was Victoria's warning early
this season that Ted would have to figure out his feelings for
Robin before he could move on to a serious relationship. I'm
glad they didn't give the relationship another go. But I think
it was good they addressed it and closed that door. Plus it was
exciting that the next girl Ted gets serious about is the
mother.

I don't like Quinn. I'd like her for Barney if the episode where
she took advantage of him didn't exist, but it does. No. And
I'll always be hoping for Barney and Robin.
I groaned aloud when Ted professed his love for Robin. I just
don't think it's believable. Hopefully, though, it's over for
good.
