TPBM is unhappy that the snow has melted, seemingly all 23
inches of it, into her basement.

False, we haven't had any snow all winter. (I hope it really
hasn't all ended up in your basement, though.)
TPBM doesn't understand when it became so hard just to say,
"Thank you," when people do nice things.
