I am excited to see the movie but my husband and I don't do
opening weeks ever. I hate having to deal with a packed theater.
So we will go see it when he gets back from Moab next week,
       probably middle week.

I wanted to love it. I really did. I was mad I didn't love it
more. In my typical fashion I read the book first, thus was
disappointed by the movie. I wasn't feeling it. Not her
relationship with Haymitch, not Rue, Gayle or even Peeta. I kept
thinking to myself. Wait! There's more to that story! There's
much more between her and Prim!! I never learn to see the movie
       first.
And I hated the ending to the third book. It felt like a huge
       cop out.

Whew! Just finished the third book and will be turning it over
       to Mom tomorrow.
I don't really feel one way or the other about the ending - it
seemed as realistic as could be expected, if a little pat. I
agree with whomever said it was just so rushed, though. Kelsey
described it as being like a record scratch. I can agree with
       that.
Thanks for the heads-up about the movie. I'm glad we read the
       books first.
