How do I thank her?

My FIL has been seeing a really nice woman for awhile. We've
met her twice and we like her. She couldn't accompany Dad to
see us at Christmas, but she sent a gift for us and we sent hers
back with him.
We don't have any contact information for her and I can't even
remember her last name. Kelsey has asked his dad for info so we
can send her a TY note, but so far, nothing.
Besides continuing to nag Dad, what can I do? (She hasn't sent
us one either, I just now realized, so maybe she hasn't noticed.
But I'd still like to send one.)

Honestly, I think I'd probably send the note to your FIL's
address at this point! :D

She still won't get it (FIL is the worst of the flakes) but it's
worth a try. At least it'll be a funny story (or a red flag,
LOL)

When are you likely to see her again? If it is not in the too
distant future, I'd wait and then ask her for her contact
details and apologise for not being able to send a thank you to
her directly before.
Otherwise, just send it to FIL. At least you've done your bit.

If you could just get her last name from your FIL you might have
luck finding her address on your own. If not, I would probably
just hold onto it until you saw her again since you say she
won't get it if you send it to your FIL.

That's what I'm leaning toward. I'll probably write one and put
it in the glove box; we never know when we'll see them, but it's
usually in their town.
