Kindle and Nook Lending

I know there are a few of us with e-readers. I thought it would
be good to have a single repository for book lending requests
and offers. Since books can only be loaned out once, if someone
borrows a book you offer, please come back and edit your offer
post to mention it. I can only speak for myself, but I'm okay
with PMs or posts here asking to borrow something. Don't forget
to tell us what e-reader you have :)
Unfortunately, most of my books aren't loanable. Here's what I
do have:
The Hunger Games
HTML http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002MQYOFW/ref=kinw_myk_ro_title<br
/> (#1) (loaned)
Catching Fire
HTML http://www.amazon.com/Catching-Second-Hunger-Games-ebook/dp/B003O86FMW/ref=pd_sim_kstore_3?ie=UTF8&m=AG56TWVU5XWC2<br
/>(#2) (loaned)
Mockingjay
HTML http://www.amazon.com/Mockingjay-Final-Hunger-Games-ebook/dp/B003XF1XOQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1331435328&sr=1-1<br
/>(#3) (on hold for Syrina)
More Tales from the Golden Age of Science Fiction
HTML http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003H05RC6/ref=kinw_myk_ro_title
ETA: I have a Kindle. Feel free to mock me for reminding
everyone to tell us what e-reader they have and then forgetting
myself.

Is there a time limit on how long you can borrow a book? I've
been hearing things about the Hunger Games but I'm in the middle
of a couple of books right now.
(I will go through my Amazon account later and find out what I
can loan. I have like a zillion books so it will take more time
than I have right now)

I think you can have them for two weeks. I've found with
library books, though, that if I don't turn on my wireless, they
don't get deleted even after the loan ends. If you borrow the
first one, I'm willing to hold onto the other two until you're
ready for them, since it's a series.

I think I may take you up on that offer! I've just gone and read
the synop(ses?) for all of them and now I'm really intrigued.
Now I should go find out what I have to offer everybody.

PM me your email address when you're ready. They're excellent
books. Dark, but excellent.

I've actually got a lot more, but most of them are free and of
questionable quality. I'm only listing the ones I've actually
read and that were decent.

I've got a Nook with the Hunger Games trilogy and probably forty
or so other books that are lendable. I'll come back and update
with a list after I've had a chance to charge the darned
battery.

I just finished a series that I stumbled across in the top 100
free mysteries on Amazon - accidentally paid for the first two,
not realizing that they were only free on Prime, but they were
still pretty cheap. I thoroughly enjoyed them, very
entertaining and engaging. There's a minor spoiler in the
description of the first book (I hate when they do that), so for
those who want to avoid it, the series takes place over about a
year to a year and a half of the life of a 40ish Irish manic
depressive CPS worker in San Diego. A little unrealistic in
that typical mystery way - I had a number of "Come on! They'd
all lose their jobs!" moments, but I think that's just part of
the territory.
I'm only linking to the first one, because I'm lazy. There are
five altogether, and my general series policy is that I'll hold
the future books while someone reads #1, so long as they promise
to let me know if they don't need them when they return the
first one, so I can make them available to someone else.

Turtle Baby
Moonbird Boy
The Dollmakers Daughters

I have a Kindle and I would be willing to lend things. Can
someone explain to me how to loan a book or tell that it is
loanable?

I've only received loaned books so far, but I think you need the
borrower's email (the one they use to sign in to Amazon). You
can find out if you can loan a book by going to 'Manage Your
Kindle' under your account, and clicking on the drop down menu
next to each item. If it's lendable, it will have an option for
'loan this book.'
