I just finished the Hunger Games. I really liked it and am now
looking forward to the movie disappointing me in the way that
only a book based movie can! ;D
(The movie actually looks good, but I've been fooled before)

I also just finished The Hunger Games trilogy. Loved it. I
paused my reading of the third book in the A Song of Ice and
Fire (Game of Thrones, etc.) series. Love them, but they take
longer to get through.

I'm now really bummed! Since I'd heard so much about them I got
all three on my Kindle instead of one at a time, then started
reading three instead of two last night. :-\ So now I know what
happens in two, and I'm really bummed about losing the suspense
I had in the first book. And I'm so mad at myself for not
looking up which book was second. :'(

Oh, that's a bummer, Sue! :(
I just finished all of Naomi Kramer's Dead novellas (the first
one is Dead(ish), I believe). I need to pay my library fines
so I can go check out a couple of early Patricia Cornwell
Scarpetta novels.

I have read every Scarpetta book, the early ones are better than
the new ones.
I have been reading the Sue Grafton Alphabet Series, and I just
finished "The Kennedy Detail".

I want to go all the way back and start with Postmortem. I'm
just not willing to pay $10 for the e-book version, so I've got
to find it at the library.

I tried "Game of Thrones", and I know some here will disagree,
but I really didn't like it much. I started skimming, finally
got about 2/3 of the way through, and have mostly given up. It
is still on my kindle, and I may try looking at it again later,
but it will take a bit.
Currently on the 3rd book of the Dahak series, "Heirs of Empire"
(David Weber). Lots of interplanetary war-type things.
Finished re-reading the "Young Miles" omnibus about Miles
Vorkosigan (Lois McMaster Bujold). Also one of the Nero Wolfe
murder mystery series.
I need to hit the store and get the last 4 books in Sue
Grafton's murder mystery series. I think the last one I read
was either the Q or the R book.

Hardia, I have a book on my coffee table that I should go back
through, it is about the life of Richard Lionheart's mother,
Eleanor of Aquitaine. According to that book, Richard was
originally supposed to inherit her lands in France, being the
third son. I'll have to see about finding your book.

I'm supposed to be reading my bookclub book "Making History" by
Stephen Fry but I haven't bought it yet.
I am reading Terry Pratchett's latest (i think) "Snuff".

I'm currently reading Look Again by Lisa Scottoline. I also
have The Grief of Others by Leah Hager Cohen borrowed from the
library electronically, but not sure I'll finish it before it's
deleted from my Kindle.

Picked up Hunger Games last night- whoa! I was sucked in and
finished it in one evening (screw the dishes, I've got BOOKS!).
Books 2 and 3 are heading to work with me today- 7 hours of
sitting around waiting for a customer to come in = reading time.
I have stacks and stacks of books that need reading- DH and I
like yard sales and church festivals to pick up books. I have
several on gardening and homesteading, and several fictions that
I've been meaning to read.
