The creature lapped the blood off its claw when it came to a
stop. As Vadiin started towards it again it took to the air.
Gaining some height it then dove at the godling aiming to bite
at him.
The wolf lead the way into the cavern inside the mountain. The
path was narrow, as only one could get through at a time, and it
stretched back about 300 feet. On the other side of the pathway
was a large cavernous opening. It was fairly dark,although
there were a few gleaming luminous stones providing light. In
the center of the cavern was a huge emerald green stone, and a
small black figure was lying on the ground nearby.

Mizuki stood up and followed after Yoshi and the wolf. As they
neared the cavern she slowed down seeing they'd have to
carefully go through, she'd have no probably being on the small
side.

Yoshi grumbles and curses to himself. he wasn't claustrophobic
but this was pushing it. finally out on the other side he waits
for Mizuki before going further. "is that her?" he asks the
wolf.

Vadiin stopped when he saw the beast take flight. He was going
to throw his axe, but the beast was too far over his head.
Vadiin looked up for a moment to see its mouth opening and
aiming right for him.
"Just what I needed." As the beast comes towards him, Vadiin
holds up his axe, glowing red in the sun. He throws the hot
weapon directly into the beast's gaping maw.
"Dinner is served.
Unfortunately, he didn't have time to get out of the way.

Solomon summons a cat warrior behind Vadiin and pushes him out
the way. "im sure you would be a great last meal, but try and
live a little longer"

As the manticore dove at Vadiin it didn't have time to move out
of the way of the hammer. As the searing metal hit it's throat
it let out an anguished cry and recoiled backwards tumbling to
the ground below.
The wolf sniffed at the air and whimpered a bit. However as the
figure shifted on the ground the wolf began to growl some.

Mizuki came out of the gap hearing the wolf growl. She
immediately switched to a defensive position and looked at the
figure on the ground.

seeing the two get defensive, yoshi takes a step forward "seeing
as these two aren't happy...I'm assuming you're not who were
looking for"
