The path that stretched before Mizuki and Yoshi was darker than
the rest of the forest. The trees were densely packed and let
in little light. Roots and branches stretched over the path
making it harder than average to get through. The wolf was
patient, as he would clear a stretch of path he would wait for
those following to catch up.
the trees on the other side of the clearing shook slightly with
the approaching creature. What stepped into the clearing was
large, probably standing 15 feet at the shoulders. The creature
had the head and body of a lion, a scorpion tail, and large
leathery wings. It sniffed at the air, before its eyes quickly
narrowed on the two in the field.

Yoshi treaded the path, tripping over roots for almost the
upteenth time he places a hand on the ground and tries flatten
the roots.

"unfortunately.....we do" the beast looked like hunter. It would
probably chase them down.

The roots before the two of them flatten making the path safer
to tread . The wolf leads them at a slightly quicker pace. The
path stretches on for another half a mile before coming to a
wall of brambles and thorns.
The great beast lets out a roar before charging at the two.

Solomon hisses and stands next to Vadiin. he tosses a flash
grenade in the beast face as it charged, hoping to blind it.

"thats alot better" Yoshi says and runs after the wolf. As he
reached the wall of bramble and thorns he attempts to create a
passage by manipulating the wall.

The thorns and brambles actively fought against being reshaped
for a time, before finally conceding to make a small path
through them. The brambles stretched for about 30 ft before
giving way to a clearing with the sound of a babbling brook.
As the beast charges the bright light stunned him for a moment.
He skidded off to the left shaking its head.

moving back and to the right.
