Searching for aid (Midmorning, open)

Vadiin walked through the streets, quickly glancing from left to
right. He was slowly getting frustrated. Why was everything
labeled so oddly or not labeledf. Where was a proper hospital or
doctor when you needed one? He was aware that some could use
magic, but he felt that seeing as magic was the entire cause of
this, using that could backfire so he was hoping someone still
knew how to do it the good'ol fashioned way.
"Damn... Where the heck can I find a freakin' doctor around
here?"
He walked down the streets with a glare in his eye and his fists
clenched tightly to his sides. He glowered down at the ground as
he moved.

As he walked around, more and more people were on the streets as
the day progressed. As he spoke a few people looked his way
curiously. As he glowered and continued his walk a young girl
approached him tentatively. "Ummm....Sir.... Are you looking
for someone?"

"What?" he said angrily while looking up. When he spotted the
girl, his face softened from extreme irritation to the usual
scowl. "I'm need..." he took a small breath and lowered his
voice as he noticed his demeanor. "Do you know where I can find
a doctor?"

As his expression softened the girl gave him a small smile in
return. "A doctor? There is a healer in town. I believe she
practices both magical and non magical healing techniques. I
could take you there if you'd like...I know where she works."

Vadiin thought for a second before answering. "Yeah, that'll
work." he waited for her to lead the way.

The girl gave a short nod and quickly turned around. Little
feet took off through the streets,weaving in and out of people
as she needed. She looked back every so often to make sure
Vadiin was following. After about 10 minutes she stopped
outside of a simple looking house.

"Hey, hold on!" Vadiin did his best to try and keep up. "Ugh,
dammit." A pain in his side from falling started making itself
known.
As she reached the house, he came up a few moments later out of
breath and holding his knees.

"Geez kid, you could've slowed down a bit." He stood up and
looked at the house. "They in here then?" He didn't wait for an
answer and pushed on the door to open it.

At the question the girl nodded and smiled. "They are."
As the door pushed open it opened into a quiet little reception
like area. A few chairs and a bed used for patients. A soft
ring of a bell echoed into the space, and a friendly voice wound
through from the back. "Just a minute." After a few moments a
girl in her young 20's came into view. Bright blonde hair that
fell to her mid back and brilliant blue eyes were prominent
features. She gave Vadiin a quick glance and a light worry
filled her features. "Are you okay? Can I help you with
something?"

"Hmm..." Vadiin looked the woman up and down before responding.
"There's a friend who needs lots of medical help down by the
docks... near where the overhang is... well, was." He paused
"You the doctor? We don't have a lot of time, so if you're just
the receptionist, get them fast."

The woman raised an eyebrow as he questioned her position within
the office. Shaking her head with a sigh, she quickly grabbed
her coat. "You must be new around here. I am the doctor, as
this is my home and practice. Take me to this friend and I will
do what I can."
