A meeting of the minds [following an invitation]

A large building of white marble sat at the center of the city.
As if it was a governing body the townspeople seemed to give it
respect. This was where the council did their dealings.
Others with meetings entered and exited the building.
When asked the inns staff would direct the group here for the
invitation.

Dante looked at the building they'd been directed to "This is
the place I guess." She muttered, it certainly and felt official
enough. "Right so we go in,explain ourselves and hopefully get
aid. Quick, simple and to the point."

"Well here we go." Leyin walked up to the large door and placed
his hand to push it open. The texture was cool to the touch, he
pushed.

Mizuki followed behind Leyin, she was curious to how the council
would be and hoped they'd lend them their aid.

The doors pushed open into a large entry way, with a refined
staircase lead up to the second floor. The stone that made up
the room left it with a slightly hallow sounds, echos were
easily heard. However it still had a warm feeling to it. It
was not the type of place to immediately turn people away. Near
the base of the stairs a receptionist sat, pouring over notes
and ledgers.

Dante hung back, leaning against the wall closest to the door
she watched the people coming and going.

Leyin looked around at the warm light emanating from the
lanterns overheard. Even though it appeared to be flames, he
figured it was some sort of magical that was illuminating the
place. He decided to let someone else do the talking first.
