As the doctor was about to take Solomon's hand, Vadiin spotted
the pendant and picked it up.
"What's this?" He turned it over in his hands. "Wasn't she
wearing this?"

The earth energy resonated with the area. An after image of the
same shimmering portal they saw the Wolf come through could be
seen. It was just an image, and it disappeared after a few
seconds.

Vadiin smiled. For any normal person, this wouldn't mean much,
but Vadiin smiling was like finding a pearlin a haystack.
A gate stone? Harley mustve put a lot of trust in these guys to
give this up. He turned to the others. "Looks like she used this
to escape before she could do any more damage. I don't recognize
that area though and this is pretty much out of energy." Vadiin
thought for a second. "Gate stones lead to specific locations,
so either Harley must've known where it went which is why he
gave it to her or she just got lucky and I doubt he crafted it
without knowing where it went."

Menka had lead the group around the city. hitting every spot he
could think of until finally reaching the last one which was the
cave.
"alright we're 0 for 5 but I have a good feeling about this one.
It's a cave up ahead that's off limits to civilians. being the
group of people that we are theyre probably in that cave."

Mizuki frowned at him, they'd been going around the entire city
and she had to pull Dantes cloud around and while it was mostly
weightless it was still annoying. "Yeah lets hope this is the
one. If not we can just wait for them back at the inn."
