An Invitation [after respite in a frozen land, morning]

The next morning the sounds of the inn came alive. Breakfast
was cooked for the guests, a complementary feature of Yuki's
desire for her inn. There were few other guests in the actual
hotel, so it was mainly for the group. In front of each of the
doors was an envelope for when they awoke. An ivory envelope
with silver embellishments. There were no names on the
envelopes but it was hard to mistake who they were for.

Hopping down from the roof Dante stretched her arms above her
head. She'd spent the night outside meditating for the most part
and felt rested and centered. With a grin she lowered her arms
and headed inside, bypassing the breakfast she headed up to
Mizuki and Sayomis room to wake them up to eat. As she
approached the door she noticed an envelope, curious she picked
it up wondering who it was from.

The boys door swings open and standing there is Solomon, king of
the bed head. he yawns and scratches his side. "mornin" he says
to Dante and steps out the room, only to step right on the
invitation. "the hell?" he looks it over before opening it

A moment later, Vadiin walked up behind Solomon. "Damn,
overslept." He paused before noticing the others. "Oh, hey." he
said to both Solomon and Dante. He peered over Solomon's
shoulder. "What's that you got there?" He reached over and tried
to pull the envelope from Solomon's hand.

The evelope itself had no marking as to addressee or sender.
The back was sealed with a wax stanp. It was a unique design
that was an image of separate peices woven togwther with what
appeared to be ice.

Solomon elbows Vadiin in the stomach as he tries to take the
envelope "hands off, hammer for brains!"
Menka awakes next and looks at the two in the doorway. with a
shrug and sigh he slips through and into the hall "good morning
Dante" he notices the envelope she and solomon were holding and
rather than get caught up in between the muscle heads he walks
over to Dante and looks at the envelope "no address...or sender
name. Maybe miss Yuki knows who sent it"

Behind the door a restless Sayomi had found a lack of sleep for
herself the past night. Her body felt constantly warm as the
energy course through her veins, never lessening only feeling
like it was rising. In the darkness soft whispers has begun to
weave their way around her. "What are you trying to do? You
know there is no where in this world you belong. A world of
water and a creature of Earth? What did you think would be the
result? This world breeds weakness in you. Look at yourself.
You can't even handle your own power. At this rate you are just
going to hurt those around you. You will only bring about
ruin." She had thrashed around trying to silence the voices.
Once again her own claws had pierced her hand in an attempt to
distract herself.
Finally day broke. Hearing the sounds outside the door she
pulled herself out of the bed and walked to the door. Pushing
it open she looked out into the hallway. Dark circles featured
prominently under her eyes. er hair was disheveled and her
usually amber eyes were a dark deep green, noticeably darker
than the emerald hue that corresponded to using her power. For
the briefest moment when she opened the door she tensed up.
Thinking she saw the others with the same affliction as the man
in the cafe from the previous day she took a step back. Rubbing
her eyes she looked out again to see the group investigating the
letters. Letting out a soft sigh she leaned against the door.
"Whats going on?"

"Psh, then move outta the way." Vadiin shoved his way passed
Solomon and spotted Saiyomi staring. He was slightly bothered by
how she looked. He wanted to show his concern, so he did what
he could. He walked up to stand directly in front of her.
"...You look terrible." he stated in a flat voice with no
particular expression on his face. "I guess we all got some
kinda letter. "Muscle mouth over there won't show me what it
says. I suggest going to ask Windy and book worm..." He paused
again. "Oh yeah, you look really terrible. Didn't you sleep?"

She muttered a greeting and stopped flipping the envelope over.
"Well won't know what it says til we open it." with a shrug she
tore the letter open and handed it to Menka "Here you can read
it. I'm gonna go get Mizuki up for breakfast."

letter from Dante and opens it
Solomon does the same.
