Respite in a frozen land [after divide and conquer]

The housing district is located in the center of the city.
Despite the frozen air it has a warm feel to it. Near the
eastern side of the district there is a large building,
presumably the inn.

Leyin floated over to a cloud and patted it on its happy cloud
head with a smile. "Hey little guy, how's it goin'?"
The cute cloud soon glared and the smile turned into a scowl.
The cloud then opened its mouth and blew extremely cold air in
Leyin's face.
"!?"
The ground moved passed Leyin's vision. So it was just a dream
and he was outside... but he was still floating. How was that...
He twisted and wriggled around. No, e was being held and carried
by someone.
"HEY! Lemme go!!" he said, freaking out. After remembering the
previous events, he was afraid Rika had kidnapped him.

Dante ignored his struggles "Leyin calm down. You fell asleep
and we're heading to the inn." she said, eyes rolling. "Solomon
went to go find the others."

Sayomi walked a bit behind the other two, a small grimace on her
face. Every so often a small sprout would grow in her path and
each time she sighed a little. This was exhausting. She just
wanted to get somewhere secluded to sleep for a little bit.

Soft sounds emanate from the building, and a muted sign hangs
above the door. Even so the place feels welcoming, and its the
same address from the note from Fiona.

As they approached the building she slowed down and gently set
Leyin back onto his feet, taking out the paper she checked the
address to the building and nodded "Alright this is the place,
we'll get some rooms and you'll be able to rest Sayomi."

"Ah, sorry." Leyin said quietly. He took a moment to collect his
thoughts of the past events. Yes, they were going to an inn.
That's when he remembered there was something he wanted to ask,
but couldn't quite remember what it was at the moment, so he let
it go.
He followed the others in.

Sayomi gave a small nod and entered the building. She hung back
a bit but as soon as a key was obtained she'd likely disappear
for some rest.

As the group entered a warm light filled the inn. A large
fireplace took up the main focus of the lobby. A light hum came
from behind the desk, though no one could be seen. A large
glass orb sat on the desk and every so often a shadow flickered
off the wall behind the desk.

Leyin paused as he entered as something behind the desk caught
his eye.
"Hey, any idea what that is?" he asked, pointing.
