"Now hold on a sec." Vadiin said, pulling his axe away. We'll
come with you, but I won't...." he then noticed a soft red glow
near Mizuki and glared. Was that always there? What exactly was
it? He couldn't get a better view of exactly what was causing
the minuscule shimmer on her arm, but it bothered him as he
didn't remember it being there before.
"I suppose we'll go, but our weapons stay with us."

Mizuki gently tugged the boy back, she didn't notice the gem on
her arm due to her focus staying on the guards. "We'll come
peacefully but I have to agree with my friend, our weapons stay.
If Balphys returns we want to be armed and ready to assist." she
said calmly.

some of the soldiers laughed at the kid. the captain gives a
slight smirk, but it soon fades as they refuse to give up their
weapons.
Genji chin checks one of the soldiers who reaches for his
swords. "oh boy" Menka says as the soldier falls out cold. The
soldiers go to draw their own weapons. "stop" the captain says
calmly. the soldiers look back at him and put their weapons
away. "...I'll allow it. somebody get Sanders out the snow. and
issue a city wide alert, keep an eye out for anything strange".
the soldiers and guards salute and rush off. The captain starts
walking toward the city, expecting them to follow.

"Hm." Vadiin follows in silence, axe back on his back. He looks
down and eyes the boy curiously. This would translate more as a
glare though.

She quietly follows, she felt a bit warm and chalked it up to
the momentary battle. She pulled her hat off, with every step it
felt like the temperature rose. Looking around she saw no one
else seemed to be hot.

The boy followed along with the group. He glanced up as Vadiin
gave him the look, though the child seemed far from frightened
or intimidated. Seeing Mizuki start to look the faintest bit
uncomfortable a small smile crept over his lips.

Vadiin spotted the boy out the corner of his eye and glared at
him. "What the hell's with that look kid. Somethin' funny?"

Menka looks at Vadiin as he somewhat snaps on the little boy.
"Vadiin, I know you've always had a temper but c'mon...a kid?"
The captain looks back at them as he continues walking but says
nothing.

Vadiin moved a bit closer to Menka and spoke a bit quieter. "I
don't give a damn who he is. He's hiding something. That smug
look he had on his face gave it away. Wasn't he with you a while
ago? You tellin' me you didn't notice anything at all?"

Mizuki pulled off her scarf and swiped a hand across her brow.
"Why is it so hot." she mumbled and felt the sweat start
dripping down her face a sudden pain radiated in her stomach
causing her to slow down "Guys! S-somethings wrong!" she
clutched her stomach and squeezed her eyes shut as the pain
increased.
