Balphys laughs sadistically and draws his sword. the air around
them would feel thick, heavy, and even colder than before.
Vadiin would notice the blaze on his hammer was not
as..."intense" as before. "I like you, tell me your name so I
can tell the story of how you died today!"
Menka shivers at the change in the air. "You help Vadiin, I'll
deal with the corrupted. Send Genji back out, I don't want him
getting hurt.
"ugh" Akio looks at what was going on in the shop. "we will help
by staying over here"

Vadiin noticed hthe change in atmosphere at the very last moment
and swore. He rolled out of the way, but not before catching a
blow to the shoulder. There was no cut due to the vest he wore,
but it did hurt like hell.
He grimmiced and stood up, a few yards away from the man. He
spat some blood and a broken tooth out of his mouth before
speaking. "So you really are one of Roran's lackeys."

Mizuki shot him a nod and took off over to Vadiin, she sent a a
blast of water past Vadiin and at the man. "Back up is here.
Also came to send Genji back out." she announced, coming to a
stop beside Vadiin.

At the new voice, Vadiin quickly glanced over. Ah, WaterWorks
was here. GOod. For her help, he diced to greet her with one of
his nicer remarks.
"About damn time." He said before getting up. "Any idea who the
hell this is?"

OOC: sheesh he only drew his sword Vadiin lol but I'll roll with
it
Balphys swings his sword and slices the water in half. it
freezes instantly becoming purple ice crystals that impaled the
wall behind them. "another joins the fray?".
Genji nods and does as asked, leaving the battle to them.
"Good job in there Genji" Menka says to him as he walks up.
"sure, if you call not being of use a good job. Why did you call
me back?" he says irritated. Menka points to some of the
corrupted attacking people. "we need to handle crowd control, if
anything its for the guards that should be arriving soon. we
want them to see that we are on their side. what better way than
to attack the attackers." Genji gives him a look of reluctance
but the plan was good. he could only nod in approval in the end.
"good now c'mon". With Genji at his side, Menka helps fight back
the corrupted.

Eyes rolled as she regarded their enemy. "No clue but we need to
come up with a plan. Recklessly attacking him isn't going to
work." she stated, she wondered what other powers he had up his
sleeve.

((Hey, maybe someone had run into the guy before, Vadiin didn't
know if they'd met the guy before or not, so he figured he'd
ask.))
"Grrrrhh." Vadiin gritted his teeth in frustration. "Then what
the heck do you suppose we do?" he asked with teeth still
clenched and glaring at the man. "Because if you don't have any
other options, I'm going with my original plan" Vadiin said, ax
beginning to glow red again.

Balphys watched the two as they planned. he was quite amused by
their perplexed state. he swings his sword in a horizontal ark,
throwing large shards of purple ice at them.
