Meanwhile Vadiin continued to run to heat himself, but it didn't
seem to be working. He couldn't even channel enough energy to
use his ax for heat. He looked around for anything warm. He was
vaguely aware that someone might have been following him, but he
didn't care at this point. The clothes were actually weighing
him down and making him colder.

Aldon tries to watch in silence but the sight of a woman
swimming in the frigid waters of the northern ocean started to
attract passersby.
Menka continues to hold the spell. "man what a day" he mutters.

Solomon finally catches up to Vadiins pace "running without a
plan seems really stupid" he says, running along side him. "We
have an in....at an inn" he sighs at the accidental pun and
continues running "just follow me"

After a few long moments more the crystal shattered. Fragments
floated in the water around her pulsing from red to black.

"Great where is it?" Vadiin asked. "Kind of hard to form a plan
when I'm freezing my @$$ off here." He took a direction which
looked like it was in the center, but still quaint part of town
and spotted what he assumed to be a small inn. "Nevermind, found
one."

Her hand dropped into the water as the heat began to quickly
leave her body and the cold temperature of the water returned.
Exhausted, the only thing keeping her afloat was Menkas spell.

Menka lifts her out the water with the spell he was using and
pulls her toward land "bring her to me" Aldon says and cradles
his arms. Menka nods and drops Mizuki into his care. With Mizuki
taken care of he lifts the pieces of gem out the water and
places them in a satchel he creates. "Alright...now we ju-".
"your friends are at an inn....I know the direction, I will take
you there" he turns and starts to walk. Mizuki would feel a
warmth radiating off of Aldon.
"but the council?" Menka asks. "that will wait til later...for
now your friend needs to warm up and rest...same for the fellow
who ran off earlier"
He wasn't wrong. Menka thought to himself and quietly follows

Shivering she curled up into the warmth and started to fall
asleep.
