Divide and Conquer Part 2 - Finding the Supplies and Information

The sun was hanging low in the sky as the day got underway in
Port Sheiva. The cities position in the northern part of the
seas was easily discernible by the crisp wind that blew through
the buildings. The buildings were build to stand the
environment around them. Thick walls of grey stood starkly
against the sky. The people of the city went about their days
bundled up, to keep the chill out.
As the day began one of two boats pulled up to the west end of
the docks of the port.

If his face could be seen under the scarf around his face,
people would see the giant grin he had on. This was Port Sheiva,
The city that sits on the ice. He had read many books about the
possible runes that could be found below the frigid waters.
Caves of ice that glisten like diamonds with treasures never
before seen. Traps that race the heart and puzzles that boggle
the mind. Menka pulls the hood up on his jacket to hide his
excitement.
Akio and Genji stayed huddled up together. out of everyone they
were probably the most bundled up. "I hate cold" Genji say
angrily

Mizuki smiled "It's so cold here! A lot colder than home." she
mumbled and looked around with interest. Her gaze fell on Menka
and she frowned "No running off, we're here for an important
reason." she could practically see him buzzing with excitement.

Vadiin walked confidently behind them, hammer-axe over his
shoulder. He wore his usual sleeveless vest and a pare of thick
jeans and boots.
"I sure hope that wasn't a complaint WaterWorks." Vadiin patted
Mizuki's shoulder "gently"... it would feel more like a small
pile of stones falling on her shoulder. "Looks like you could
have quite a field day if you wanted."
He walked ahead before she could respond. "So, what we doin'?

The early morning sun was just beginning to light the streets of
the city. As if rising from a deep slumber the city slowly
began to wake around them. The few shops and restaurants that
opened early began to raise their blinds, welcoming residents of
Port Sheiva in from the snow. Early risers began to populate
the streets, bundled up against the elements but seemingly
comfortable in the harsh atmosphere. Occasionally a passerby
would give the newcomers to the city a curious look.
The group appeared to be in the shipping district. The streets
were lines with warehouses, wholesale shops, and the occasional
restaurant. Most of those on the streets were clearly workers,
all ready to work at the docks. Large ships sat off in the
distance waiting to make their deliveries for the day. The
atmosphere was hurried and the scent of fresh bread hung in the
air.

"i know, i know." he says to mizuki. "simply put, I guess we
start shopping. Smithing materials, fresh water, food stock. all
we have to do is go and make the orders and the men will take it
back to the ship"

Vadiin looked around. "Hmm, you can leave the smithing materials
to me." he said without turning around. He headed in the
direction of a large buildinng with steam and smoke coming out
of the chimney.

Mizuki rubbed her shoulders, happy to have kept herself from
falling over when the larger man "patted" her shoulder. "Well
thats one thing we won't have to worry about. We can handle
everything else and maybe get some information. We'll need to
figure what sort of allies we can gain from this place."

The streets around them continued the hustle and bustle as the
shipping district came to life. One of the largest buildings in
the area was the one Vadiin was headed towards. A large
industrial looking building with large metal doors. The
building itself was brick, with icicles hanging off the rafters.

"isn't that what the others are procuring?" Menka says as he
makes his way down the road. He was looking at shops to find the
rest of their supplies. remembering something, he quickly grabs
Genji. "tell Vadiin that if anyone ask, are alias is that of the
Blue Lion Merchants" Genji nods and runs after Vadiin.
"Hey!" Genji calls out to him as he catches up "Menka says not
to forget our alias is the Blue Lion Merchants"
