"Hmmm I wonder if we Originals have an affinity towards elves in
trouble." she mused, thinking about how she met Mizuki. She
looked down and saw some of her team begin to pair off in
conversation. "Already bonding...except for Menka, he's just off
getting into trouble."

Startled out of her thoughts she looked at Leyin "Hi!"she said
cheerfully and took a sip of her water. "Enjoying yourself?" she
asked.

Leyin looked around. "Kind of. I'm not really used to big
gatherings. You seem pretty used to these types of things."

"I wouldn't say used to it." she shrugged. "My clan used to hold
festivals whenever food was abundant, celebrating the small
blessings the fates had given us....I'd never really attend
them." she admitted and swirled the water around in her cup.
"They had one just before I left with Dante and that didn't end
well."

Menka stares at him, wondering if he was going to wave back.
better wave again to be sure. He waves one more time, this time
walking toward him.

Solomon laughs "that makes two of us, conversation has never
been my strong point." he drinks from his cup and looks at it in
thought "because of your affinity to earth right? this place is
like a hell personally for you Earth Godlings"
"So I take it you saved Mizuki a time ago? I could believe she
saved you too....you seem like the need saving time " he says
with a slight chuckle.

Dante frowned "Yeah, while not as bad as your beginning. Mizu's
clan tormented her for stupid things she couldn't control." she
sighed and rubbed the back of her head sheepishly. "We take care
of each other, though I'd say she takes care of me more. When we
first met it was because I ate something you're not supposed to
eat so I fell off my cloud, she found me and told me I was an
idiot."
"A great goddess of the wind taken down by unsavory food and
being told off by this pipsqueak of an elf who didn't even know
she was speaking to someone far more powerful than she could
imagine." she chuckled. "So different from me and more
knowledgeable about this world and the only thing I could offer
was protection. And even then she told me I was an idiot and
went about it all wrong..."

Sayomi nodded lightly. "It kind of is. It has always felt kind
of like that to me. Like nothing is quite right. I mean the
world isn't all bad, but I always feel out of sorts. And I tend
to draw attention with my abilities."

Vadiin continued to stare at the fire when a shadow creeped
toward him. he glanced up. Oh great, the magic man was coming
this way. Vadiin slowly whiped his face with his hands and
sighed. "What, do you want." This was more of a "Leave me the
hell alone.", but just hidden under different words.
Leyin listened as Mizuki spoke of her home, then she mentioned
Dante.
"You two must've known each other for quite a while huh? I'll be
honest, you two are kind of an unlikely pare." He then mentally
kicked himself for saying such a thing. He didn't know many
water elves, so maybe they weren't. He held his breath, waiting
for the obvious correction.

Instead of taking offense she giggled and nodded "Yeah we really
are, we've been traveling together for a year and for someone so
old it surprises me how uninformed Dante is. The only reason we
met is because she ate some poisonous berries and fell out of
the sky in front of my home. I had to nurse her back to health
and kept telling her how dumb and lucky she was to have lived."
she finished her water and set the cup down.
"If she hadn't shown me her power I would not have believed that
she was goddess. She's calmed down quite a bit since then but
goes off the path of sanity if I end up hurt. We had to leave my
clan after she killed two of my long time bullies. I'm hoping
traveling in this group would settle her down a bit more...and
help her learn more about the world. She tends to be very driven
on a single thing and fails to see the whole picture." she said.
