Twenty replaced the few that vadiin had vanquished. The numbers
ended up pushing genji back toward vadiin "theyre like pest"
genji says as the scalebound circle around him and vadiin "i
have no idea!!" he yells to dante.
The thorn wall was like a flare to the senses for the
scalebound. A large group surrounds sayomi, they numbered around
30. In the group making its way to the front were one of the
larger ones. It wielded a spear and wore a necklace made of
ears.
Another group launches a barrage of spears at dante, within the
group one of the scalebound stuck out. Its slender scaled body
was a murky green and bright green. It switched between walking
and crawling on all fours. Its eyes stayed focused in dante as
if waiting for her to lose track of it.
The large scalebound screeches in anger and pain as the water
spikes pierced it, but it wasnt enough. The scalebound shakes
free from the spikes and swings his sword at mizuki once again.
Scalebound began to rush to the large ones side in response too
the pain.

Menka looks around for an answer. Thats when he notices the
scalebound reacting to the larger one "what if we take out the
big guys?" he yells. His arm was starting to burn now. Another
scalebound jumps at him but he blasts it away with magic. He
notices one of the larger ones nearby and starts to chant. At
the end of it tendrils of purple light protrudes from the ground
below the large scalebound and begins to yank him in. The large
scalebound fights, roars and snaps at the tendrils but could not
get away. A large crack resonates in the air and the scalebound
goes limp as its dragged into the void below with the tendrils.
"Menka stumbles from exhaustion and falls to one knee.
"One...down guys....three.....three...."he passes out.

"Gee, why didn't I think of that!" Vadiin yelled holding his ax
at the ready. "Except that I did think of that. Only problem
is-" he was cut off by the large cracking sound from Menka's
spell. "Well, that's one way to do it!" he said with a half
smile. "Think you can do that a-... daaammmmiiiit!" he cursed in
irritation when he saw Menka passed out.
He looked over to where Mizuki was, then to where the vine wall
was. That seem to attract a lot of them, including some of the
big ones... if only he could get the two responsible's
attention.
"Hey, waterWorks, TreeHugger!" He shouted, He side stepped a
random swipe and tried to make his way towards them.
There was no way he'd get his plan to them from where he was.
"UUUGGGHHHHHRRR GET THE HELL OUTTA MY WAY!!" he said in extreme
frustration. His ax suddenly glowed a hot red and he sliced
through a dozen of the smaller scalebound to get to where they
were. However, they still seemed to be occupied. He'd have to
shout from here and hope they heard.
"TreeHugger, keep that wall up, WaterWorks, when the big one
gets there, surround them in in water and stab them that way!"
he shouted while still fighting off scalebound. He was hoping
they could do this without passing out like... MagicMan over
there.

Mizuki heard the nickname but before she could respond she was
blocking the larger ones weapon "R-right, bit busy but I'll
try!" she shouted, pressing her other hand against the sword,
she felt her knees begin to buckle at the weight. She could see
the smaller ones were beginning to approach. Once she was closer
to the ground she dissolved her blade and fell back, using the
surrounding water to quickly move her across the deck and closer
towards the wall.

"Damn it!" she couldn't deflect without probably hitting the
others, trying to think fast she lost track of the odd colored
scalebound. Letting her halbred vanish she quickly began to tap
into the deep elemental power within. Her eyes glowed as the
large tornado began to form in front of her and began to pull in
most of the spears. She forced herself to ignore the pain of
some of the spears hitting their target, only allowing herself
to stumble back as she focused on the tornado and creating a
wall of air around it to keep it from sucking in any of her team
that might've close.

Sayomi cringed at the nickname slightly. She gave a brief nod.
She would try. She focused energy into sthrengening the cage of
thorns around her. The mounting numbers were concerning her
however. Knowing she be unable to hold his forever she quickly
took a good look at the commanding scalebound approaching her.
She slowly had a very large vine start to form below her. She
would need an opening, but she had a plan.

A scalebound leaps onto vadiins back trying to bite his neck.
Genji quickly tackles it off of him and stabs it through the
chest.
The large scalebound falls forward from the weight giving amd
hisses as it crashes to the ground. The smaller ones quickly
give chase with the bigger one in tow.
The scalebound try to run but were sucked up the massive
twister. The slim green scalebound is next to dante. Its almost
as if it appeared out of thin air. It leaps to make a killing
bite but is crushed by a massive hammer but no one was around to
connect the hammer to.
The scalebound try and bite and cut into the vines but to no
avail. The larger scalebound pushes his way to the front and
looks at sayomi with a large reptilian eye before pulling back
to thrust his spear through the vines.

"Hm!" Vadiin said in what he figured was a thankful tone as the
other guy pushed the scalebound off of him.
He heard a loud crash and saw the hammer next to... he didn't
have time to think of a name right now. That hammer could only
mean one thing.
"Well, it's about damn time." he thought to himself as h fougyht
his way forward.
He looked over to see TreeHugger starting to struggle. "Not her
too." he said to himself as he continued making his way there.
"Hurry it up WaterWorks! We could use that large water bubble
right now!"

Dante flinched, loosing her concentration with the appearance of
the hammer. The tornado dispersed, dropping the scalebound onto
the deck with the spears embedded in them. She pressed her hand
to her head, wincing at the pain in her left shoulder. She
grasped the spear and yanked it out, stifling her cry of pain as
she pulled out one more and stood up.Weakly she raised a hand
and formed a cloud around Menka to float him safely above the
battle.
Seeing the ones going after Mizuki she she began attacking them
with wind blades "I'll handle them!" she said.

About to yell back at him she saw the chasing scalebound get
attacked by Dante, freeing her from the distraction she nodded
and tried not to worry about her friend. She focused and began
drawing all the water from the deck towards the monsters near
Sayomi. The water walls snapped up round them, trapping them as
the water began to become large spikes and impaling them
multiple times.
