Sayomi shook her head with a sigh. [i]"I
unfortunately do not. I generally don't spend much time around
others, nor do I stay in one place long enough to hear rumors.
I may have to go out on a limb to ask around for one."

"Hmm..." Leyin fiddled with his napkin for a moment before
remembering. "Oh, some people I met earlier might have a clue as
to where to find one." He thought about mentioning the fact that
they ere godlings as well, but then decided against it. One
thing at a time. "They should be around here somewhere."
He paused and looked at her for a second. Had he seen her
somewhere before?

Sayomi tilted her head and blinked her large amber eyes.
[I]"Around here somewhere like in the city,
or the inn? You think they might be able to help?". She
pursed her lips in thought, as she wasn't the best at seeking
help from others. She was used to fending for herself. It was
half the reason she often stayed in some animal form.
As he paused and looked at her she looked up and gave him a
quizzical look.

"Eheh, sorry." he looked down at the menu, a bit shy.
"Yeah there were some people here... at the inn I mean. They
said they'd be here, but I don't see them anywhere. They might
have gotten a room already. There was a guy with I think light
green hair and a girl with light brown hair, almost orange."

At his shy response Sayomi raised an eyebrow but didn't push.
She nodded as he spoke of the other two he had met and she
pursed her lips in thought. It was at that point the waitress
showed up to take their order. Sayomi pointed to the special
before the waitress turned to Leyin.

Leyin looked at the menu then up at the waitress who was now
magically there. When had she arrived? He hadn't even picked
anything.
"I'll have thesoup of the day." he responded quietly.

The waitress nodded with a soft smile and headed back to tell
the chef's their order.
Sayomi leaned back in her chair and stretched her arms, as her
eyes darted around the room quickly. No soldiers were in sight
and she let her shoulders relax a little. Not the best with
small talk she nibbled at the corner of her lip. [i]"So what
brought you to this city?" she asked quietly.

On the roof Solomon would begin to smell the thick scent of
leaves wafting around him.
In the dining room people's heads would turn curiously as if
they were distracted. The scent of fresh lilacs began to circle
around him. It would become stronger if he were to head towards
the door.
Sayomi however would begin to smell orchids. The scent was
thick and captivating.

"Well basically I..." at that moment, something pricked at his
nose.
Leyin stopped talking and sniffed the air with a look of
surprise on his face. Was that really what he thought it was?
No.... It couldn't be. "lilacs." he said to himself. This was
something he wanted to look into, but he didn't want to just
leave Sayomi there.
This was the scent of ACTUAL lilacs though, not the cheap
perfumes that he often smelt before. Where would someone have
gotten those? He didn't remember running into any sort of flower
shop on the ships. He looked back at Sayomi. What was he going
to tell her? Something about how he got there... or maybe it was
about he dagger?...
"Um... sorry, I'll be right back." He couldn't resist. The scent
brought a wave of nestolgia over the boy. He thought of his
mother and the garden she kept.
He got up and took a few steps. The smell grew stronger. "I'll
be back, I promise." he said as he moved closer towards the
door. Not once did it occur to him that this could be some sort
of trap.
