Website Policy
PURPOSE
To provide a general policy regarding the content and the
maintenance of the information contained on the Ridgeview
Terrace Residents website. All information on the website must
conform to this policy.[/center] [center]GOAL
The site has been created by a group of residents that desire to
build a strong community at Ridgeview. The goal of the website
is to provide an open venue for residents to communicate, share
and discuss helpful Association’s information and foster a sense
of community and promote inclusiveness of all owners. Your
contribution in this forum will be taken into account to help
improve the community.[/center] [center]DISCLOSURE
The Ridgeview Terrace Condominium Residents forum IS NOT
representing nor represented by the elected Board of Directors
and its President IN ANY WAY. This website is owned by
individual owners. This website is not owned by the Condominium
Association and it does not represent, endorse or express
neither the opinion of the Association or its Board of Directors
nor necessarily the views of the forum staff. This website will
be donated to the association once a majority membership decides
that a website is beneficial to all or the Board of Directors
endorses and requests a vote to endorse the site as the official
Ridgeview site.
GUIDELINES
This website will not knowingly contain information that
violates generally accepted privacy standards, is offensive to
individuals or organizations, or violates community standards.
In publishing any information, consideration must be given to
the fact that the website is available to all registered users.
The following is NOT permitted on the Ridgeview Terrace website.
1) Public disclosure of information of a private nature that can
be viewed as invasive or detrimental to the Ridgeview Terrace
Residents or as stated in the Connecticut state laws. Any
information intended for access by owners only is password
protected thru the registration process.
2) Political information that supports a particular position,
party or individual unless it pertains to condominium specific
legislation or policy.[/center] [center]3) Information,
comments, photos, etc. that our residents or other organizations
could find inappropriate or objectionable.
4) Any content that violates ethics or laws or subjects the
Association to possible legal action.
SITE MAINTENANCE
To ensure coordinated, consistant and timely implementation of
website updates, all changes will be focused through and made by
the Ridgeview Terrace Residents site Administrator. An assistant
Administrator will back up the primary Administrator and provide
website changes when assigned by the webmaster. Site maintenance
services will be voluntary and provided at no charge.
CONTENT APPROVAL
All discussions are moderated by an assigned website Moderator.
Objectionable or inappropriate content will be blocked or
removed if they violate the website policy. The author of
objectionable content will be notified of content changes and
will be warned. Repeated violations can result in a temporary or
permanent ban from the website.
FUTURE WEBSITE DESIGN
Opportunities will be explored for enhancing the Ridgeview
Residents website.
New website formats, design tools, development software and
security schemes will be pursued for continued improvement of
the website’s appearance and value to the residents.
