       Where were you the day lights went out in New York & All
       Over The World Mourned!

       I will never forget!!!
       I remember, that whole week before it happened....  We had just
       found a house, it had been damaged by fire and we were in the
       process of fixing it... I remember the scraping and cleaning and
       painting and finally wallpapering the livingroom...
       The joy of the finished work was so great that day, and I was up
       early, waiting for the hydro guy to come and hook us up...  He
       was up the pole and I went into the house, it was a sunny
       day.... Not a cloud in the sky....
       I turned on the kitchen light, power at last, and then plugged
       the t.v. in I invited the guy in for a coffee, and he was
       standing there, when all went quiet.......... The tower had been
       hit!!!  We watched, as if watching a horror show, but this was
       real, it couldn't be happening... oh my god those people, the
       smoke... then right there another plane hit the other
       tower...............
       We were shocked I remember him calling work and saying he was
       going home.... He was crying, and scared and wanted to be with
       family.... He left and my hubby came home, what happened have
       you heard anything... I saw it I said....
       Yes, I will never forget... the lose of innocents that day....
       We thought we were safe, far away from the war and the fighting,
       that could never happen here, but it did.....

       The Twins
       Our future, is built from our past
       And that is why The Twins were built to last
       The plans were drawn and we held fast
       There had to be two, strong and high, the die was cast!!!
       They were so famous
       That, they became a part of all of us
       They grew so high
       They seemed to kiss the sky!!!
       They brought people far and wide
       How could we know, so many would die
       The Twins Forever and In God We Trust
       When they were hit like a long cold knife thrust!!!
       Our eyes, could not believe, and our hearts filled and cried
       As we all sat, motionless, and watched as thousands died
       The Twins are gone for now, but never to be forgotten
       We swear we will all get the Ben Lotten's!!!
       But in the end, it matters not
       No battles won, as long as people die, in battles fought
       Only when a child's toy, is no longer a gun
       Have we found peace and freedom for our daughters and our
       son...........................
