1 Keep it under your hat
2 You’ll get older but not necessarily wiser
3 Accept what is done is done
4 Accept yourself
5 Know what counts and what doesn’t

Sometimes we just need to remember what the
13 Rules of Life really are:
Never give yourself a haircut after three margaritas.
You need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move
and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the
tape.
The five most essential words for a healthy, vital relationship
are, "I apologize" and "you are right."
Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.
Never pass up an opportunity to pee.
If he/she says that you are too good for him/her - believe them.
Learn to pick your battles; Ask yourself, "Will this matter one
year from now? How about one month? One week? One day?"
When you make a mistake, make amends immediately. It's easier to
eat crow while it's still warm.
If you woke up breathing, congratulations! You have another
chance!
Living well really is the best revenge. Being miserable because
of a bad or former relationship just might mean that the other
person was right about you.
Work is good, but it's not that important. Money is nice, but
you can't take it, or anything else, with you. Statistics show
most people don't live to spend all they saved; Some die even
before they retire. Anything we have isn't really ours; we just
borrow it while we're here... even our kids.
Be really good to your family and/or friends. You never know
when you are going to need them to empty your bedpan.
If you are going to be able to look back on something and laugh
about it,you may as well laugh about it now.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR LIFE
Take into account that great love and great achievements involve
great risk.
When you lose, don't lose the lesson.
Follow the three R's:
Respect for self
Respect for others and
Responsibility for all your actions.
Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful
stroke of luck.
Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly.
Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.
When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to
correct it.
Spend some time alone.
Open your arms to change, but don't let go of your values.
Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.
Live a good, honorable life. Then when you get older and think
back,you'll be able to enjoy it a second time.
A loving atmosphere in your home is the foundation for your
life. Do all you can to create a tranquil, harmonious home.
In disagreements with loved ones, deal only with the current
situation. Don't bring up the past.
Share your knowledge. It's a way to achieve immortality.
Be gentle with the earth.
Once a year, go someplace you've never been before.
Remember that the best relationship is one in which your love
for each other exceeds your need for each other.
Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get
it.
Call your mother.
Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon.
