       I am a simple man
       In a rich land
       But it isn't jewels that I want, for the riches I seek
       Make even a bleak day seem to speak....
       Like Rainbows after a storm
       Or a river that comes raging and then calm
       And birds chripping in a nest
       Familys in their Sunday best!!!
       It is the smells of hot chocolate
       The feel of sand running through fingers
       Of butterfly kisses and help with the dishes
       It's smiles from friends and strangers
       And ah, laughter for all god's angels!!!
       Its' wishing one and all well
       And seeing that sometimes dreams do come true
       It's looking at the one you have grown old with and knowing love
       still resides there....
       It's puppy dog kisses
       It's wanting more, but being happy with what you have got!!!
       It's jumping into a too cold lake
       And baking that special birthday cake!!!
       It's not being perfect
       But, being glad that I am me
       And that we are friends, lovers, family.....
       Yes, the simple life, that is what I cherish most!!!
