       Life can be hard in this day and age
       Sometimes one feels like they are locked in a cage
       And all they want is for someone to turn their life to another
       page!!!
       We try so hard to please, to guide with a loving hand
       But, we are left alone like in the middle of a huge desert
       covered in sand
       Where is the love and peace in this land!!
       Each morning we reach for that ray of sunshine
       Looking for love and people who are kind
       But, the cruelty of others blows my mind!!!
