Rickyl Writers' Group Information and Rules

The Rickyl Writers' Group is a community of fanfic writers,
artists, betas, and advocates that support the relationship
between Rick Grimes and Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead. This
forum is associated with the Tumblr group here:

. The group frequently posts
challenges, fic/art recommendations, prompts, and other fandom
related materials and considers itself to be inclusive and
welcoming of all.
The group began in the summer of 2015 as a Chatzy Rickyl Chat,
but has since grown into a full-blown community. Original
members of the group (and current admins) include: 1lostone,
lucife56, MaroonCamaro, MermaidSheenaz, Michelle_A_Emerlind,
skarlatha, s0urw0lf, and TWDObsessive.
We are NOT here to replace any existing group, rec list, site,
Tumblr, or other Rickyl entity. Likewise, you are more than free
to be involved with any other entities. We only hope to add to
the general experience of all.
For general questions, please see our help board or contact a
moderator.
RULES:
#1: The group has a zero tolerance policy related to hate,
flaming, and harassment. See the policy below for further
details.
#2: The group will NOT recommend nor post a fanfiction, fanart,
or other related piece that engages in hate, flaming, or
harassment.
#3: The group will NOT recommend nor post a fanfiction, fanart,
or other fandom related piece that positively depicts sexual
relationships with children (please note that we WILL recommend
and post high school AUs and we will also consider works that
have off-screen or negatively portrayed childhood abuse). If you
have a fandom related piece that falls into this category, you
can STILL belong to our group provided that you also have Rickyl
pieces. We will simply not rec or post those particular pieces.
#4: The group will recommend and post fanfiction, fanart, and
other related pieces that contain non-con, rape, death fic, or
other potentially triggering subjects. However, these pieces
will be appropriately tagged.
Harassment Policy: Hate/flaming/harassment or other unwelcome
behavior is defined by the Rickyl Writers' Group as any attack
on a person or group of individuals. Personal opinions regarding
fandom and canon details are NOT hate, but responding that
someone should “die” or are “stupid” for their opinions IS. Hate
is any behavior that creates a hostile environment and include
bullying, hazing, personal attacks, and targeting. This behavior
will NOT be tolerated and any individual found engaging in these
actions will be removed from the group. Incidents of hate will
be decided upon by the admins of this group.
Plagiarism/Theft Policy: This group does not tolerate
intentional art theft or plagiarism of fanworks. If you are
found to be reposting or otherwise claiming that a fanwork is
yours when you are not the original creator of it, you will
receive a warning regarding the difference between reblogging,
reposting, and sharing etiquette. On a second offense, you will
be removed from the group. Incidents will be decided upon by the
admins of this group.
Member Removal Process: If you are found in violation of our
rules and policies, you will be removed from the group. This
includes the removal of your member profile, beta match-ups, and
recommendations. The decision of removal will be decided by a
committee of admins and you will be notified of the decision and
the reason behind the decision. If you have questions about the

General Disclaimer: The Rickyl Writers' Group is a free
community dedicated to fanworks of Rick Grimes/Daryl Dixon. The
group does not own the characters nor is it affiliated with The
Walking Dead. All admins are volunteers and the group does not
make a profit on any of its works. Rules and policies are
subject to change at the discretion of the admins. Any changes
regarding our policies will be distributed to members via a
Tumblr post and will be reflected on this page. The Rickyl
Writers' Group is a free community dedicated to fanworks of Rick
Grimes/Daryl Dixon. The group does not own the characters nor is
affiliated with The Walking Dead. All admins are volunteers and
the group does not make a profit on any of its works. The
fanwork depicted in this group is often of an adult nature and
should only be viewed by those aged 18+; however, the group is
not responsible for individual member actions.
Posting and Recs Disclaimer: The Rickyl Writers' Group aims to
be an inclusive, welcoming environment, and as such, much of our
posting, recommendations, and general activities work under
voting processes. In addition, we post every work that a member
updates/posts, as long as that work does not violate our rules.
Because of this, some fanworks are not personally endorsed by a
specific member of the group or by the administration.
