So it's been two years since everyone settled in Alexandria and
started living normally --as normally as they could of course.
So Daryl goes on a run and finds an antique house (how to
English omg) and in its floor finds a ring that seems pretty old
and it's pure luxury. So he decides there and then that he'll
totally propose to Rick because it's been a long while and they
love each other so much and they've been living together and
Carl and Judith love him and blablabla what we all know.
So that night it's Rick's turn to cook so when he gets home
everything's settled and there are candles lighted. Rick
receives him with light and lovig kisses, tells him that the
kids are sleeping at Carol's and that they have that night for
each other.
After the food and everything Rick takes Daryl's hands and tells
him how much he loves him and that he thinks they've
accomplished a lot in these two years --they've firstly accepted
their love, they started a relationship, they had they first
time, they moved together and, most important, they started
their family with Carl and Judith. And even if he's really happy
and that they don't need a paper to prove their love as couples
did before the outbreak, he'd be really happy to call Daryl not
only his boyfriend, his lover... but his husband.
SO RICK TAKES OUT A RING MADE BY CARL AND JUDITH AND IT'S REALLY
UGLY BECAUSE IT'S ONLY METAL LIKE INTERTWINED how to English AND
MADE BY //CHILDREN// AND NOTHING ELSE BUT IT'S EVERYTHING FOR
DARYL BECAUSE IT REPRESENTS THE FAMILY THEY'VE STARTED TWO YEARS
AGO SO HE STARTS CRYING and then starts laughing and takes out
the ring confessing that he was gonna propose that night and
Rick laughs too AND FEELS AND FLUFF AND GAY \o/

You know what have you got me with in this prompt? With that
'ugly' ring they made, cause I'm sure it's the most beautiful
ring ever, because it's made by them! Love it. And would
definitely read it.

Exactly! And Daryl sobbing because of it, because he DOES have a
family it's what I'd love to read ♡
