What Are You Writing Right Now?

What's your current project? A long fic, a one shot? A
challenge, from a prompt? Right now I'm working on two
things--the first is a ficlet collection for my High School AU
Static Motions. The anniversary of the fic is on the 17th, so I
want to post something in honor of it! The second is an
epic-length AU of Lord Daryl/Slave Rick. :D

I am finishing up a Christmas fic I wrote for TWDObsessive (All
I Want for Christmas Is You

right now. Also I am
working on a super-ridiculous one-shot with the premise "Rick
and Daryl meet for the first time at an orgy and there are
fireworks." And then once I get those done, it's back to work on
my angel!Daryl AU "In the Cold Dark Earth". It's not the same
kind of angel!Daryl as MAE's recent work "A Spade of Truth" but
it's good all the same. Very dark and angsty but with a happy
ending!

Right now I'm writing a very long hurt!Rick fic that will be
kind of slow burn. And that's my main project. Apart from that,
I'm knee-deep in a few fics, one of which involves a very drunk
Rick. But they are works in progress so I can't wait to read
more of your stuff guys!

I currently have three longer projects on my list: a
shapechanger AU, a werewolf AU and a Neanderthal AU. Yes,
seriously. I've written either a chapter, a prologue or at least
a summary for each of them but haven't had a chance to really
get stuck into any of them yet. To be honest I struggle with
multi-chapter fics - I usually have ideas for individual scenes
only rather than complete story arcs. So this will require some
work!
If anyone wants to give me prompts for ficlets and one-shots to
keep my writing brain firing in the meantime, let's hear them!

Currently I not only broke my WIP rule, but I broke it twice.
I have one fic that is just goofy. I can totally see Daryl as a
Fae lord- all the little quirks of his personality just make my
brain go "oh, yes. Please."
The other one is an angsty wordmonster that tells s 5 and s 6
events through a Rickyl Lens. I've been planning it since season
5, but I finally got brave enough to post it.
:D
(I also have about 4 other projects planned, one for Xmen (and
Xmen FC), and the other two are Johnlock. :D)

I have a few in the works, not sure if I'm going to continue
them or not. But, the newest little plot bunny that's sunk it's
fangs into me and won't let go is a Rickyl Coyote Ugly. I'm
working it out now and hopefully, I can get it right.

I'm writing a long (currently 25K) about rock star!Daryl and
Hollywood star!Rick. It's darker than the things I usually
write. And I started two new ones for the series I have going
on. But with a test every week, I have no idea when I'll finish
them. :'(

Despite working on my constantly growing epic "Southern
Discomfort" (which I swear has an end in sight, but it isn't for
quite a few more chapers) I've been working on a fic that was
supposed to be silly and ended up being a horror story (go
figure). I'm calling it "Heart of Darkness" and it deals with an
abandoned zoo, which I'm told is the worst kind of zombie
apocolypse cliche but I like a challenge XD it ended up being a
kindof cool established relationship story that I'm falling in
love with. I also just got talked into a Bordwalk Empire-esque
1920's story that has to do with prohibition and bootlegging.
I'm just obsessed with Rick and Daryl in pinstripe suites and
vests looking dapper as all hell.
