Ellima Simons changed to Ellie Simons
Early life and Family
Born in LS, Europe May 17th 1984. Ellie Simons mother Velentina
Simons never knew the true identify of her daughter's father.
Velentina did not have any trace of any of the possible fathers
after the one-night stands before falling pregnant. Being a
single parent raising a child was difficult for Velentina.
Velentina was reduced to having to beg and sell herself in order
to make a living. After Ellie began school, it was only then
Velentina started working full-time with a 'legit' job working
as a cashier in her local supermarket.
After Ellie's mother, Velentina met her new lover, Dmitri
Dyadyun, a loyal police officer within his local community for
over a decade. Dmitri and Velentina got married five years after
meeting - the year before Ellie began senior school.
Dmitri and Velentina had two children, Sergei Dyadyun (Born
1995) and Pavel Dyadyun (Born 1997) both brothers of Ellie's.
Europe
Ellie found it difficult living in the conditions that her
mother was providing. Although Ellie may have found it
difficult, she never complained due to understanding the hard
situations that her mother was going through. Ellie's mother,
Velentina, told Ellie about her father and that she never knew
his name. Ellie never showed interesting in knowing who her
father was and realised that the only parent was her mother.
With Ellie's hard working attitude, she consistently showed
potential with her grades at school.
Ellie got along well with her step-father Dmitri and began to
live a 'normal' family life. When Ellie was 11, her brother
Sergei was born. With both of her parents working different
shifts, Ellie took it upon herself to babysit her brother and
had a major influence in his childhood. When Ellie was still in
senior school at 13, her parents had another child, Pavel.
Reason for moving to America
The year 1997 was a difficult year for Ellie. With the political
corruption in Europe, particularly in Samara, the educational
system began to corrupt particular ideas of democracy and
incorrect claims about particular situations within global
affairs. It was Dmitri who was looking over Ellie's school work
that found incorrect claims about the world situations. Knowing
personally about the corruption in Europe, Dmitri persuaded
Ellie and her mother Veletina that it would be best if Ellie was
to get out of Europe, with the hope of gaining a better life
elsewhere.
Dmitri had distant family within San Andreas that agreed to
become the guardians of Ellie. Melissa Perry and Rich Perry
became the legal guardians of Ellie after coming to Europe for a
couple of months. Ellie moved to the modest part of Angel Pine
with Melissa and Rich in San Andreas. Melissa was an accountant
at a local insurance company whilst Rich worked as a trucker
Within San Fierro.
When arriving back at San Andreas, The Perrys felt it would be
best if Ellie was to have a less Eastern name and changed her
name ,reference to her new hometown, Angel Pines. Ellie began to
attend her local high school in San Andreas whilst living in her
new hometown, Angel Pines. Whilst continuing her good grades at
her new school, her guardians were approached for Ellie to
become an extra in a few movies. Ellie career took off at the
early age of 14 with her becoming a catalogue model for several
clothing lines. Although this did not gain her ‘fame’ or
‘riches’, her guardians would hand all of the money earned to
Ellie to spend as she liked.
University
At the age of 16 instead of staying two additional years of
further study at high school, Ellie had the opportunity to go to
her local university to study the English language. With her
excellent grades, she was one of the youngest students at her
university and quickly became the prodigy within the university.
Melissa and Rich continued to fund for Ellie education although
money was difficult for the Perrys.
The death of the Perrys
In 2001, Melissa and Rich were involved in a terrible car
accident killing them instantly. Ellie found it difficult to
come to terms with the news. To make matters worse, Melissa and
Rich had little to their names with the house and most of the
property being rented, this left Elliewith very little cash and
belongings. Ellie ultimately became homeless with child services
offering little help due to her age – 17. Ellie became to take
residence at the University accommodation with the little funds
that were left after the funeral expenses. With little funding
from grants and the lack of funding that she had lost from the
death of her guardians, Ellie was forced to agree to additional
work in order to fund her education and living expenses.
Why do you want to be a news reporter?
Being from Europe, I know personally the lack of information
that can impact a person's life. Within San Andreas I have
noticed that San Andreas News brings the most up-to-date
information and news as it comes. I was personally shocked and
pleasantly surprised that the news is able to talk about
multiple world affairs which may be either talbi or risqué to
discuss within different cultures. Currently studying Journalism
I feel I would like to share my ability with the English
language. I feel also that being from another culture that I may
have different experiences and views that differ that may lead
to further opinions on present matters.
Why should we accept you?
I have a keen interest in news, current affairs, business and
people and like to discuss matters that are happening within the
present times. I would like to describe myself as having strong
written and oral communication skills, whilst presenting
accurate spelling, grammar and punctuation. People have
described me as being having
good organisation skills and having the ability to work under
pressure to tight deadlines. Most importantly I have the ability
to grasp complex issues quickly and explain them in simple,
concise language. Other skills I have include being resilience,
determination, flexibility, persistence and motivation. I feel
the news has an important factor in a person's life, which they
do not truly appreciate. I would like the opportunity to bring
the world the current affairs as they come whilst keeping people
entertained be it driving home from work or listening from home.
An example news story of choice:
Good afternoon San Andreas, This is Ellie Simons with the
breaking news on the Internet bank hacking. As you may know,
Internet banking has been down for three hours now with the
hackers taking control of the internal banking systems. The
banking systems are still down and it has become known to us
through our sources that they are unable to identify the hackers
who have since demanded over two billion dollars or they will
begin to transfer all the assets of the accounts. It is still
unclear if the demands will be met, however the government have
urged people to try not to panic and to not access any internet
banking until this issue has been resolved. If you have been
received any e-mails asking for any account information or
giving a 'solution' to the problem, please contact the police
immediately. The government have confirmed that they are
continuing to deal with the problem and are working closely with
the banks to protect information and client's accounts. The
police are urging people to contact your local police station
with any information. We will be back with the news as this
