I think by now, everyone is acquainted with the Coronavirus,
also known as COVID-19. We are all aware that it spreads easily
among people and what it can lead to: The pandemic we are facing
today. The measures being taken to prevent more casualties are
not to be taken lightly. We, the youth, at least have nothing to
worry about. It is the elderly or those with pre-existing
illnesses who have everything to worry about. Having the Virus
would be confirmed death. Therefore, as mentioned in the blog
#StayTheFuckHome, stay at home. I can’t stress this one any more
than I have done the previous times. Stay at home. Thank
goodness the government ordered everyone in Austria and some
other countries to do so. Don’t you shake hands with people in
this time of crisis or touch any surfaces and then your face. If
you see someone touching things carelessly, know that this
fellow might not value their life, because the virus could be
anywhere. Nonetheless, most importantly, do not panic. Believe
me; you do not want millions of people to panic. People hoarding
toilet paper and disinfectant to resell them at surplus value
when there are people who NEED it and can’t afford it is a bad
enough presentation of panic induced idiocy. It is important to
spread information on the coronavirus and all the
countermeasures you can and are supposed to take without a panic
inducing undertone to make the people more anxious. Whoever
wrote the blog #StayTheFuckHome failed in that aspect. The tool
of unnecessary fear mongering has been overused and it’s tiring.
As I mentioned before, if you stay at home, all is good. Just
see that the people close to you are safe.
This virus is real, global and yes, it will definitely go down
in the history books but I plead with you not to let it cloud
your mind inadequately. 24/7 paranoia does good to no one. There
are a lot of other things going on right now as well. If you
allow this topic to steal your whole attention, you are just as
wise as the fish in the ocean. With everyone’s attention on the
coronavirus, governments utilise it to pass controversial bills.
The US does that frequently. Right now, they are trying to pass
a bill that gets rid of end-to-end encryption, basically
stripping you of your privacy and granting the government full
access to your, if this bill passes, no longer private data. Oh,
the media that influence your attention and attention span. It
has been short and is becoming shorter. General concern is hard
to come by for issues that happen thousands of kilometers away
from you or anywhere that isn't North America or Europe. Uyghurs
and other ethnic minorities are being oppressed in China,
violence against Muslims in India after an anti-muslimism
citizenship law was passed by the government and now Muslims are
being targeted by Hindu nationalist. Or hunger in Yemen that is
threatening a whole generation. While the rest of the world runs
for toilet roll, a forgotten country is struggling to survive
the world’s worst famine. I bet you didn’t know that.
In short, what I am trying to say is: Whenever there’s a big
story in the media, you might want to have a look at the story
or stories they might be distracting you from. Of course
tragedies happen here and there in the world and all of them
might not be able to fit in the newspapers and we individuals do
not have the recourses and the ability to change that. But
overall my point here is, that you use this given time where you
are not allowed to go out and must stay in quarantine to build
yourself. Be it physically, mentally or even spiritually. Use
your time, just as I used mine to write this awfully wrong, long
comment.

The article is very well written and persuasive. The writer
wants us to protect every human being by staying at home and
avoiding too much human contact and I am pretty much doing that
because I want to protect me, my family and other people in this
country. As already mentioned in the text, we should not panic
and just do what the government wants us to do because the virus
is contagious, people are searching for vaccines against it and
we are only told to stay at home which is not hard at all.
Everything what is written in the article is true, there is a
reason why we are not allowed to go out, it is for our safety
and not just an unnecessary request from the government. All of
us are affected which means that all of us should compete in
helping to contain and limit the spread. We must show
solidarity, we have to care about each other due to the quickly
growing virus and show some respect. Some people might think the
virus will not catch them because they are not in the risk group
and this thinking is wrong. Everyone could be the next, someone
could have been in the wrong place at the wrong time and could
have caught the virus and that is why we have to follow the
rules, to protect ourselves because it is not assured who could
end up getting the virus. People should only go out if it is
urgent and not because they are bored in their apartment. In the
past centuries people were asked to fight in the war and they
did. And what about us? We are only asked to stay at home, and
some cannot even fulfill that request. We should act like human
beings and be altruistic instead of egoistic! And what about
myself? I am going to stay at home, stay fit, avoid human
contact and wait until the nightmare is finally over because I
care! So most importantly: Stay safe, sanitize yourself and do
not panic. ;)

This article encompasses everything we need to know about the
corona virus and how to prevent yourself from getting it. The
elderly generations are in danger and we, all of us, need to
show humanity and solidarity. The only way to give the
scientists extra time to find a vaccine is self-quarantine. It
might be hard for some people but everyone should think about
their elderly loved ones. You are not doing it for yourself but
for our society. #staythefuckhome >:(

The article describes what the new coronavirus is, why it is
more dangerous than the seasonal flu and the possibilities to
fight this deadly virus now, as there is currently no vaccine
available, are only self-quarantine and avoiding social
contacts. I share this opinion to a large extent, because in
these difficult times we must show whether people really have
the quality of solidarity. On the other hand, it is impossible
to just stay at home, because after a while you just go crazy,
so I think it should be allowed not only to go to the
supermarket but also to go for a short walk, to get fresh air.
The most important thing is, if you go out at all, not to get in
contact with other people. Not to forget is that the governments
of Europe are also responsible for the whole thing, that the
virus came to Europe, because they did not directly stop flights
from China when they knew about the virus. Nevertheless, it is
imperative that we follow the measures of the government,
otherwise if we do not, the situation will develop like in Italy

This article about the COVID-19 exemplifies those things that we
as the dwellers of the planet earth have to obey, so that we win
in the war against the virus. A lot of people often wait just
for the government to enact different kinds of measures against
this virus. But I am strongly in favour of the writers opinion,
that we have to keep things firmly in hand and do the best that
we can to not save only us, from the coronavirus, but also the
ones we love, the ones we value, and the ones that are in the
risk- group.
What is happining in Italy is an indescribable disaster, and
this should open the eyes of all of us! In Lombardy, that is the
from the coronavirus most affectes region in Europe, still 40%
of the population there is mobile and wandars around. This is
one reason why this virus is so dangerous, people do not want to
accept that we, and not only the government are in the driving
seats. We have to slow the exponential growth, so that our
healthcare system doesn't collapse like it did in Italy, where
the doctors have to decide which patient will live and whose
life will end. As frightful as it seems this is the reality!
But we can stop this! By washing our hands frequently and
thourogh the number of germs and viruses is reduced to one
one-thousandth. Not only that, also by reducing our social-life
the number of new infections per day decreases by a whole lot.
What is asked from us may sound absurd but it helps to win this
war against the virus: We need solidarity but also distance in
our daily life!
#StayTheFuckHome and don't forget to sanitize! ;)

This article is about the CORONAVIRUS, also known as COVID-19.
It informs us about the dangers of the virus and how we can
prevent the spreading. We all know that the coronavirus in
Austria (also worldwide) is spreading rapidly and many people
die. This article shows exactly how we can protect us from this
influenza. For the younger generation, it might not be a threat,
but for the elders it is. Our goverment try to help us by
introducing measures to stop the spreading. Now, our job is to
take these seriously. STAY AT HOME, WASH YOU HANDS REGULAR, KEEP
DISTANCES FROM OTHER PEOPLE! These are exactly the measure to
defeat this threat. We all have to show solidarity. The sooner
we realize that, the CORONAVIRUS is a threat, the faster we can
defeat it. So we have to try our best and work together. #STAY

“Wow!” I really have to emphasize “wow”. As the coronavirus
first made headlines in the media, I haven’t stopped reading
articles about this world-shaking topic. But I really have to
confess that none of the numerous stories I have read, has been
that well-written. This post just puts the mind of a high amount
of the population into some informative words that altogether
build a great text that should be read by every person that has
the proper circumstances and the possibility to read it. With
the right words this article promotes the campaign called
#staythefuckhome and prompts the readers to use their prudence
and follow some simple rules in this incomparable situation. I
personally am trying to practice all of the rules mentioned in
the article. Even though it causes me some difficulties, I have
stopped my social life dead in its tracks. No more mass events,
no friends meetings, no more hugs for greetings. If I have
managed it, I am sure every other person out there will also
succeed in dealing with this challenge.
Furthermore, I liked that this post was more an objective
collection of facts than a text badmouthing the people that
aren’t following the rules to help bringing this complicated
situation, the whole world is currently facing, to an end.

Everybody is talking something else about the COVID-19 and this
article includes the most important information we need to know,
because of that everyone should read it. Everything we have to
do is written down by the author. We have to show solidarity to
win against Coronavirus. The best thing we can do is to avoid
contact with other people. Stop going out, stop meeting friends.
Just stay at home. Maybe the risk of dying from this illness is
very low for us, but it's really dangerous for the older person.
Don't just think about yourself, do it for the people who share
the earth with us. Because of that it's very important to listen
to the governement and do what they say to save more lifes.

I really like this Article, for it is very articulate and it
seems to have been perceived to very positively by the readers
according to the comments/replies. I too fully agree to the
message that this article is trying to send but i think its
necessary to see the positive in dark times like these. An
positive effect of this coronavirus pandemic is that the co2
emissions have drastically fallen and this proves that we can
make a changed we are forced too. Another point would be that
the elderly are dying off. In this new high tech age that we
live in, the human lifespan is increased and improved. Medicine
has been evolving for years and this has brought down a lot
more issues for the elderly and increased their life. This is of
course not completely negative for having your Grandparents for
longer is quite nice but there are positives to their deaths,
they might be controversial but true. Their deaths would be a
positive because is would help overpopulation also most elderly
are actively voting negatively regarding global warming so their
death would be beneficial for the voice the people not of the
individuals that have already lived out their lives ::). It
might be a harsh truth but the harshness does not discredit the
truth. The end of their lives would bring an significant
positive effect, i personally think the right thing to do in a
moral way would be to keep them alive. subjectively the mass
genocide would be the right option for the future of this earth
and it inhabitants. As a wise man once said "THE HARDEST CHOICES
REQUIRE THE STRONGEST WILLS" *Thanos*

This article is about the new pandemic virus COVID-19 also known
as coronavirus. It gives the reader a short overview about this
situation. The author did not forget to include the most
relevant information about measures which could give the virus
fewer chances of spreading.
In general, this article is very well written and admitted
useful materials that can be advantageous for every single
person on this planet over a period of COVID-19. If we really
want to survive this dangerous and deadly virus then we have to
join this movement called #StayTheFuckHome. Exactly this
movement is the only action how to reduce the number of infected
people. Now it is the time to take this situation more
seriously. In my opinion there is no reason to panic at all.
However, I would like to cover the impact of fear on health,
particularly our immune system because it is the only way we can
fight off the virus if we get into contact. Another way to fight
off the virus is to make sure your immune system is efficient in
combating the virus along with little help from
symptom-alleviating medications. That is also the reason why I
decided to take Vitamin D and Vitamin C every day. Personally, I
think that people have to wear a mask because masks are an
important signal that it´s not business as usual as well as an
act of solidarity. Even though, masks do not work perfectly,
they do help prevent the spread of the virus along with frequent
hand-washing and social-distancing. I am trying to practice all
of the rules mentioned in the article. So my family and I
decided to stay at home for 14 days to see if we are not
infected.
Although, there are some advantages of COVID-19 we have not
noticed yet. For example, the spreading virus has caused a dip
in global greenhouse gas emissions, because of suspended flights
and closed factories. In China, the world’s largest carbon
emitter, the emissions over the past month have been about 25%
lower than normal. Families can spend more time together. I
finally started to work- out, because I have more free time for
myself now than before, which means the self-quarantine can also
be beneficial for us. In conclusion, I hope that a cure/vaccine
will come out as soon as possible because to be honest, the
number of dead people is terrifying me.
