The COVID-19

Excellent article. You took the words right out of my mouth :)
It seems that people do not understand what consequences not
self-quarantining has and need to be told harshly. It may not be
"that big of a deal" to some people, but honestly, it is. As
mentioned in the article: It is spreading very quickly, and
scientists are yet to find a vaccine. You may not die and do not
care if our elders do, however, your weak immune friend/family
member, as well as people with disabilities, could. Let us take
a look at China. The number of cases has decreased drastically.
Why? Because the people showed solidarity. Altogether, fighting
against the virus. How? They stayed home, minimized their social
life, and sanitized a lot. While their life is going back to
normal, we are experiencing a crisis. I am in self-quarantine
and am willing to stay home for a long time. I believe this
campaign is spreading a crucial message which everyone should
hear about and support. With patience and team spirit, I am
sure; we will defeat the virus. It is not the end of the world,
read a book at home, learn a new hobby, watch movies, video
chat, do your online school work, whatever it is, please, for
the love of God, just STAY THE FUCK HOME.

This article names different ways on how we can prevent the
virus from spreading and to protect ourselves and also the
people around us. It also sums up what and how dangerous the
Coronavirus actually is.
I pretty much share the same opinion as stated in the article -
We should try our best to protect everyone and the people that
still do not take this current situation serious should stop
being selfish and think more about the ones that are actually
endangered.

CORONAVIRUS THE END OF HUMANITY – OR RATHER THE END OF THE WORLD
Coronvirus is nothing new and yet one would say that it is the
end of the world, if you look at the streets or in the
supermarkets. Now the question arises: ,,Why are people more
afraid of a simple virus, but not afraid of attacks?“
The answer is: Because the virus spreads very quickly and could
affect our loved ones, who are no longer the youngest. It was
also classified as a pandemic by the WHO, which means there is
no country that is not affected by coronavirus. I understand
that the situation is serious and it is of the utmost importance
that we all have to follow certain rules. However, I still ask
myself a question: Why are there people who make the situation
seem worse than it actaully is? As I mentioned before, I
understand the seriousness of the situation and this is the
reason why I ask you to finally wake up and tip your ears up. It
is not only the task of politicians to take various measures,
but it is also our task to implement these measures. Dear
people, we have to wake up! Weh ave to take the situation in our
hands before the coronavirus takes us in its hands. We do not
have to follow all measures and endanger our own health. It is
enough if each of us does some oft he measures on the list. This
ist he only way we can fight the coronavirus. Together, by
following some oft he measures.
It is not too difficult to do something fort he society, when
the will is there.
I personally try to go for a short walk. I was my hands
immediately after each walk. If I have to sneeze, I always take
a hankerchief. As I mentioned, you do not have to follow all the
measures, but some would be good to follow.
In conclusion, I would just like to say the following:
Coronavirus does not mean making panick and changing ones
lifestyle. Coronavirus means staying calm and adapting your own
way of life to the new conditions. To adapt it in such a way
that nobody is endangered.

This article gets right to the point. Although, the corona virus
might not be a threat to the younger generations, it definitely
is to the elderly ones. In times like this, people need to show
solidarity and altruism. Right now, there are thousands or
probably even millions of scientists trying to find a
cure/vaccine. Until they find one it is OUR responsibility to
keep the number of diseased ones as low as possible. For now,
self-quarantine is the way to go. “Stay the fuck home” saves
lives.

This article sums up a lot of facts we already know. It shows us
steps that we need to follow in order to slow down the spread of
the virus as much as possible. Furthermore it draws attention to
the fact, that there still is no vaccine and also no treatment
for COVID-19.
However, I think that other important things have to be
mentioned. Despite all the information the article gives us, it
causes anxiety while reading. It gives me a feeling of „When you
don‘t follow these regulations, you will be dead soon“. It must
be brought to the fore, that the virus mainly affects the
elderly population, chronically ill people and also people who
are more prone to disease- and those are the ones we shoold be
looking out for. In times like these we have to show solidarity
and humanity. We can easily recover from the virus, but when it
hits that group of people, then the course of the disease looks
quite different. So the most important thing to do is staying at
home.
Another thing that goes through my mind when I think about the
virus is the economy. We still don‘t know how the economy is
going to develop, but what we know for sure is that there will
be hundreds of thousands of people getting unemployed. The
government is already putting money in it in order to pay those
people, but will this work, espacially when the crisis lasts
longer?
Questions upon questions, the answers to which we will only see
in the course of development.

This article explains why the coronavirus is so dangerous and
how we can help prevent the virus from spreading. It may not be
a big threat to our younger generation, but it is a big threat
to the older people. The government has already done something
to prevent the spread of the virus by introducing quarantine.
Now we just have to take this seriously and really stay at home,
because now is the right time for solidarity. By following the
rules, it is possible to end this crisis as quickly as possible.
The sooner we do this, the sooner we can return to our normal
lives. So, follow the rules and just STAY THE FUCK HOME.

While we're encountering this totally new and difficult
situation, the movement #staythefuckhome might be helpful to
explain those, who don’t take the measures from the government
serious, why it is important to restrict public life. Many
people claim that these measures are depriving their freedom,
but is that right? We do not give up a part of freedom, but we
decide freely to act in solidarity. All the things we are
supposed to give up are ultimately-because it will only be for a
while, I hope- not relevant. But now we are reduced to the
essentials: survival, community, solidarity. Only if we all pull
together on the same rope we’ll be able to combat the crisis.
The magic words currently are: Altruism instead of Egoism! It
may be right that the virus can’t harm young people but measures
weren’t primarily made for protecting this age group. It’s about
the responsibility we have because we're the ones who go out the
most and meet up in big groups and thus spread the virus in a
tremendous pace. While many are annoyed by the topic, many
cannot understand the current measures, or some are angry that
they can’t go shopping or meet up with friends, a vast amount of
people face the risk of getting infected in their job every
day(doctors, nurses, sellers, etc.). In order to give something
back to these people, we should all, if possible, contribute to
the containment of the virus. So the best decision we can make
is to #staythefuckhome. (It’s not much we’re asked for!)

This article hits the needle on the head. It lists a lot of
measures that are necessary to keep the infected rate low and I
think the author made a good point mentioning that we should not
take measures that we are not comfortable with and that will
affect your life negatively (for example losing your job). Since
I am a student I could fulfill all these measures with ease, but
my mental state drives me insane when I stay home for too long,
that is why I seek for short walks with my friend. But we don't
stay over an hour and we try to touch as little as possible our
faces included. It is important to understand why we are staying
at home? We should keep ourselves alert and informed about the
current political situation - Staying home is probably the most
difficult part, but also the most important because as we stay
home we spread fewer germs in public and the possibility that
someone could infect themselves is lower. In our age, the virus
isn't fatal, but for the elders and people that have
pre-existing illnesses (like cancer, diabetes) the chances are
high that it could have a lethal end. A bad thing also is to not
flood the hospitals, because if the hospitals have too many
patients to care about - the ones that can't get treated,
because of the situation, will eventually die.
So #staythefuckhome, protect the weak and show some solidarity!

This article is about the Coronavirus, which is spreading
worldwide, and it shows us how serious things are. For weeks,
thousands of people have died because of this virus.
We should stay home and avoid social contacts until the
scientists find an antidote for this disease. If someone needs
fresh air, he/she could take a quick walk around the block but
without encountering others. Solidarity counts!
STAYTHEFUCKHOME!!
