what if I told you SA-MP is dying out slowly?
Wait you may get that wrong: The ammount of SAMP players is
slowly decreasing day by day, I'm not sure if by the time we're
finished we'll have some kind of... player base. Well it could
be possible of course, but I doubt it, also MultIV is slowly
rising up now, so if it's worth playing some people might also
switch to that. I just want to warn you, this game is already 8
years old and it's not like CS or COD2 where you can randomly
just go onto servers and rape the shit out of people.
TL;DR Is it still worth continuing on this?

Where do you get your info? SA-MP forums say the player base is
still growing and it was actually feautured on Brazilian TV
because of avideo someone made. MultIV will take a while before
it gets to a playable state and new feautures added. In short
yeah it is worth it because alot of old players still play this
;)

Actually BA is right. Although for most of us the 'Good ol'
days' were back anywhere from 2007-2010, SA-MP peaked in
popularity somewhere between 2011 and 2012, where the
playercount nearly doubled. The current playercount is not as
high but has maintained itself for quite a while.
As it stands, I'd still put MultiIV in the same position as
M2:MP and IV:MP. It'll take time, so we either wait and hope or
do something while we wait and hope.
If anything is to become another possibility, Just Cause 2:MP is
having it's first client release (beta) before the years end.
Although the game is even more arcade that GTA:SA, it might gain
a large playerbase.

And judging from a video on youtube M2:MP only has 2
developers... I wonder what Anwix did to scare off almost
everyone xD
