[center]You know, I've been thinking about it and came to this
conclusion; Since this is Planet Karthor, a planet that is in
some ways different from Earth and entirely our own creation, we
can do whatever we want with it and not have to worry about it
being too 'alien' of a concept. With that being said, I picture
huge, dark trees with humongous, twisted branches towering over
marshland, with patches of sundew and pitcher-like plants that
thrive off of that kind of environment.
Maybe there could be giant lilypads that could support your
weight and even stretch a few feet into the air, above the
water? Tall, dark, and ominous grasslands covered by a
year-round fog? Ferns of every shape and size imaginable, trees
uprooted every once in a while, maybe hollow? Prairies with
patches of grass and other foliage, a tree dotted here and
there, but mostly a few nice, big sandy areas with an occasional
rocky shelf leading up to a forest.
As a world where reptiles thrive, I imagine the reptiles to be
very colorful and vivid-hued, like the ones on Earth? I don't
know about you guys, but I see a lot of colorful reptiles on the
internet and at the zoo. You could make some of their
surroundings colorful as well. And heck, I wouldn't be surprised
to see a bunch of jellyfish flying around or neon, color
changing spores floating in the air.
Just throwing out ideas...You can tell I need to get my eyes off
the computer and sleep! lol.[/center]

[center]That's what I was basing my inspiration on, since our
computer class just watched the making of Avatar. I personally
thought it was very interesting, both on the concept art and
technological side. I was impressed with how much time was spent
with drawing up the environment and animals who lived
there.[/center]

it out. Anyway, yeah, I think something like Pandora would be

I was meaning for it to be a planet but a moon at the same time!
orbiting a huuuuge gas giant! with a large blue star that the
gas giant orbits! so yeah, it's hot there on Karthor! so there
will be mostly oceans and huge towering rainforests! with giant
trees that you could live on!

[center]That explains there being mostly reptiles, though. That
would be a good environment for them since they're ectothermic.
At least, the ones on good ol' planet Earth are. I think the
environments good then, since rainforests would definitely
thrive there.
And I love the giant trees.[/center]

Yeah, like exotic redwood trees. Will there be any place on
Karthor that is chilly? Like the exact top, as mentioned in my
story?
