An Idea for a "Reptilian" Logo Contest

I think that it would be great to have a logo for Reptilian. A
few people could send a picture of a logo they draw up to
probably you, Reptaloria, and then you could choose your 3
favorites and have the members vote on them.
Here it is more detailed:
In the About or Forum Suggestions and Help Board, or
maybe even Progress Board if it happens, there could be a topic
about how there will be a contest. In this topic, the rules and
expectations for the logo could be introduced and things like
that.
Then, there would be a given amount of time for people
to send in their pictures to you, Reptaloria, and you can
decide which ones you like.
After 2 or 3 logos are picked, a new topic could be
started about a voting. Everyone that had not submitted a logo
can vote on their favorite after they are released into the
public. If those that had their logos chosen wanted to vote,
they would have to vote on one that isn't theirs.
After another given amount of time, the poll would
end and whichever logo has the most points could become the new
"official" Reptilian logo! It also could be changed every year.
So, that is my idea. It can be altered in any way. I really
think that logo could attract more players to the game and get
more staff members and members. Would this be a good idea?

[center]Not necessarily. Many of the banner contests I've
participated in were based more upon originality and how well it
went with the forum instead of how good it was. Needless to say
I've lost most contests than I've won xp
Perhaps forum banner could change every once in a while too. I
know some forums, (Warrior Cats RPG, Impressive Hearts, etc) who
change their banner monthly. There could be an 'Archives' sticky
board in the Creativity>Art section where past banners or
entries are displayed
Maybe the banner should also be restricted to a certain height
and width? Like, you don't want someone to make a 200x230,
someone a 550x400, and another to make 1200x1000 image. That
would be too chaotic trying to get the sizes right and resizing
them and all that stuff.[/center]

Well, maybe Reptaloria would be able to edit the size and
clearness. And it could change like once a year. I still think
your drawings are good, though.
