All we're doing is waiting for the fake "prosperity" to crumble,
and the resulting loss of credibility and legitimacy will follow
like night follows day.
The citizenry of corrupt regimes ruled by self-serving elites
tolerate this oppressive misrule for one reason and only one
reason: increasing prosperity,which we can define as continual
improvement in material well-being and financial security.
The legitimacy of every corrupt regime ruled by self-serving
elites hangs on this single thread: once prosperity fades, the
legitimacy of the regime evaporates, as the citizenry have no
reason to tolerate their rapacious, predatory overlords.
A broken, unfair system will be tolerated as long as every
participant feels they're getting a few shreds of improvement.
This is why there is such an enormous push of propaganda touting
"growth"; if the citizenry can be conned into believing that
their deteriorating well-being and security are actually
"prosperity," then they will continue to grant the status quo
some measure of credibility and legitimacy.
When the gap between the propaganda and reality widens to the
breaking point, the regime loses its credibility and legitimacy.
This manifests in a number of ways:
► 1. Nobody believes anything the state or its agencies
reports as "fact": since it misreported economic well-being and
security to benefit the few at the expense of the many, why
believe anything official?
► 2. Increased lawlessness: since the Ruling Elites get
away with virtually everything, why we should we obey the laws?
► 3. Opting out: rather than become a target for the
state's oppressive organs of security, the safer path is to opt
out: quit supporting a parasitic and predatory Status Quo of
corporations and the state with your labor, slip into the
shadows of the economy, avoid debt like the plague, get by on a
fraction of your former income.
► 4. Breakdown of Status Quo political parties: since all
parties are bands of self-serving thieves, what's the point of
even nominal membership?
► 5. Increasing reliance on anti-depression and
anti-anxiety medications, more self-medication/drug use, and
other manifestations of social stress and breakdown.
► 6. Those who can move away from crumbling high-tax
cities, essentially giving up civic hope for fair, affordable
solutions to rising inequality and social disorder.
► 7. Increasing defaults and bankruptcies as households
and enterprises no longer see any other way out.
► 8. Increasing mockery of financial/corporate media
parroting the propaganda that "prosperity" is real and rising--
S&P 500 hits 3,000, we're all getting better in every way, every
day, etc.
Truth is the most essential form of capital, and once it has
been squandered to serve insiders, vested interests and Ruling
Elites, the nation is morally, spiritually, politically and
financially bankrupt. All we're doing is waiting for the fake
"prosperity" to crumble, and the resulting loss of credibility
and legitimacy will follow like night follows day. 🌠

The main function of the U.S. Supreme Court is, in general, to
provide fascist elite orchestrated impunity for just about any
sort of injustice visited on the populace in order to
continuously enrich criminal elites in particular.
I ran into an interesting quote today from the book, "All
Honorable Men". It sheds a great deal of light on how the
American Capitalist system aids and abets the fascist modus
operandi. The quote is referring to I.G. Farben, the NAZI
chemical corporation that perfected fascist cartelization for
the purpose of monopolizing all industrial production and most
of the profit, all over the civilized world, under German
fascist control. They are more infamous for their SS Death Camp
poison gas, but that was just a tiny part of their criminal
activities all over the world.
In their files, discovered within days after the U.S. Army got
to their main offices, was the plan for the "New World Order"
after WWII. It is detailed and methodical. The parts were all
mostly in place before WWII. The parts grew and prospered AFTER
WWII.

of how the U.S. military and CIA hired large numbers of former
Nazis. The scandal that one is supposed to see in that story is,
apparently, that people had been Nazis, not that they had
participated in horrific atrocities, because participating in
horrific atrocities is depicted as a courageous and noble
service in Jacobsen’s newer book.
There is, of course, a case to be made for the existence of Nazi
influence on post-WWII U.S. atrocities. As I wrote at the link
above,
“The U.S. military shifted in numerous ways when former Nazis
were put into prominent positions. It was Nazi rocket scientists
who proposed placing nuclear bombs on rockets and began
developing the intercontinental ballistic missile. It was Nazi
engineers who had designed Hitler’s bunker beneath Berlin, who
now designed underground fortresses for the U.S. government in
the Catoctin and Blue Ridge Mountains. Known Nazi liars were
employed by the U.S. military to draft classified intelligence
briefs falsely hyping the Soviet menace. Nazi scientists
developed U.S. chemical and biological weapons programs,
bringing over their knowledge of tabun and sarin, not to mention
thalidomide — and their eagerness for human experimentation,
which the U.S. military and the newly created CIA readily

As a Spanish speaker, I can tell you that the word "titere"
(three syllables, accent on the first syllable, pronounced
Tē-Tĕ-Rĕ) does not just mean "puppet"; it is used
far more often as a pejorative label for people without scruples
that will steal anything not attached when you are not looking.

It's all great fun, and I got a good laugh out of it. BUT,
ridicule of Trump needs to be put in the proper perspective. As
a kid in the 1950's, I watched many cartoons (featuring Bugs
Bunny, Daffy Duck, Donald Duck, etc.) made before, and during,
WWII. They ridiculed Hitler to no end. It didn't help. Murderous
Racist Demagogues despise ridicule but are not deterred by it.
The reason for that is that those demagogues, like Hitler AND
Trump, are the tiny visible tip of a cabal of rapacious
oligarchs that put them there and want to keep them there.

1) A melding of corporate and civil governance.
2) A foreign policy predicated on an aggressive nationalistic

will utilize any tool to subjugate the opposition.
There used to be Republicans like Abraham Lincoln who sought to
unify the country, Teddy Roosevelt who promoted the national
parks system, Dwight Eisenhower who didn’t insult the members of
the Supreme Court when they made their ruling in Brown Vs. Board
of Education but used the power of his office to enforce that
decision, Richard Nixon who signed the Clean Water Act and
created the Environmental Protection Agency. Even Ronald Reagan,
the darling of Republicans, took steps to invigorate the EPA.
Until the current occupant of the Oval Office came along, every
president, once inaugurated, made an effort to represent every
citizen of the United States, not just those who turn out for
carefully crafted adoration festivals. The present day #Fake
Republican party is anti-everything except promoting the
interests of unchecked business and celebrating the historical
dominance of white male culture.
The current president leans heavily on an appeal to patriotism,
but he is no patriot. As union organizer Eugene Debs said a
hundred years ago, “Every robber or oppressor in history has
wrapped himself in a cloak of patriotism or religion, or both.”
Trump 🦀 has done both.
The signs that a warming planet is placing the entire planet at
risk are all around us, but the fake Republicans refuse to lift
a finger to address the problem.

They are too busy making corporations into super citizens while
diminishing the power of the people who are the nominal holders
of the nation’s sovereignty. Unable to see beyond the next
quarterly report, they are literally pouring gasoline on the
fire and turning a blind eye to the consequences.
Politicians used to work for the common good, or at least
pretend to. No more. Today it’s all about destroying the enemy.
With the help of ALEC and similar front organizations, those who
speak out are threatened with felony convictions that carry
prison sentences of up to 40 years. Government workers who speak
out are harassed, demoted, or fired. We have a “my way or the
highway” president and a coterie of sycophants who applaud his
every move.
America is embracing totalitarianism by brutally suppressing
voting rights for anyone who is not likely to vote for
Republican candidates. Polling places in poor neighborhoods are
arbitrarily closed, voting hours are shortened, and new
restrictions on voter registrations are added. If the people
will not get out and vote, soon they will find they have lost
the ability to do so and the consolidation of power in the hands
of a few super-wealthy white males will be complete.
