How can an Apostle be a spiritual passport? How have you seen
this come to pass in your life?
In response to this weeks question, just as a passport is a
travel document and allows citizens from other countries or
territories to enter and exit the territory and conduct business
or assignments while there, so is that of the apostle, which
carries the same meaning. Apostles are able to traverse various
territories and ignite change. I've seen this come to pass for
me in a couple of ways. While I am not one with a large
platform, I have been able to tap into audiences that others
have not, and in doing so, it has opened doors for many
collaborations that if I had not entered those areas, some
people would not be invited into those arenas. I've watched
people leave places where they have amazing gifts and they were
only used for the house they were in, and only at the time they
were called on. Them trusting the apostolic on my life, has
opened up many doors for them to minister, not only in Colorado
but across the nation and the world. There are many gifts that
sit in pews everyday, but once I encounter them, my mind opens
up to the wonderful aspects of how they can affect the kingdom,
if given the right opportunity. I've activated quiet and timid
personalities to become bold prophets, evangelists and
intercessors. I approach everything from creating the
environment for people to interact with Holy Spirit on their
own. I'm not a teacher who gives information only, but I like
to create the ephiphany moment between the student and the Holy
Spirit so that the learning sticks forever. I have them abort
every preached word they have heard and open their mind to a
fresh revelation from God, where they hear and get His
understanding from the scriptures. So many are walking with
words from other preachers rather than words from our God. This
is what makes me move apostolically - bringing a deeper depth to
the believer and charging them to move forward with God.

The ministry of activation is so important in the body of
Christ. Thank God for your obedience and moving with an
understanding to stir, teach, activate, and send.
When you say abort every preached Word, and lay hold of fresh
revelation. Can you elaborate more.

Sure. I have watched students tell messages of popular stories
in the bible based on what they heard from a preached word,
rather than allowing the Holy Spirit to teach them about the
story. I don't mean to sound like I want them to abandon all
other revelations, but I do want them to get a fresh revelation
of what God is speaking to them. Case and point - they preach
Rahab as a harlot and focus on that, rather than on her being an
ally to the plan of God. Harlotry would signify a separation
from God, but even this "sinner" knew a God moment and she
became a partner to bring the Children of Israel into the
promised land. If it were not for her hearing and moving with
God, her family would have been destroyed as well. The woman at
the well is always known as a woman who just slept with men, but
did we ever think that she was an evangelist to her community
after her encounter with God? We have to not repeat what others
highlight, but let the Word open up for us and bring us a new
understanding. I have read so many passages that bring me new
insight when I broach them with the posture of the Holy Spirit
teaching me more about the Word of God. That's a long way to
explain it.

Yes, read, study, and understand the Word of God for yourself!
As you said, a "Fresh Revelation". The depth of the Word of God
is so massive that we can read the same story/passage and the
Word will speak to each of us in our place and space in life at
the moment. So, yes the ministry of the apostle brings people
from the old paradigm of hearing the Word of God on Sunday, and
thats their only encounter; instead of digging in for more
truth, revelation, and direct ministry into their personal
situations. Thank you Carla for such a clear perspective.

Apostles as a spiritual passport can get one into places that
otherwise might be prohibited. As an apostle we are usually not
in one place but rather traveling from one place to another,
planting where God directs us to.
In my own life I've seen God take me places through His favor
and allow me to do His work even when I felt inadequate to do
so. He equipped, and sent.

The grace of the Lord is amazing....So many times we don't feel
equipped or adequate, but God!! Staying in the company of an
apostle or apostolic/prophetic person/ministry opens doors that
many times would never be accessed!

Hello everyone.
I'm a little late. But I'm responding to the questions from the
1st week. It was very interesting to me to hear when Rick Renner
said the Apostle can be a spiritual passport. How powerful is
that. After hearing that it made me open up my mind even the
more as to this office. The weight one would have to have in
order to even be considered. I've had a couple of Apostle
leaders in my way that have most definitely taken me and pushed
me in areas I didn't think I could be. There are also Apsolic
leaders in the marketplace. This topic is so powerful and very
impactful and extremely influential. Hence the reason why its
vital that we know and discern the real from the false.
