Finally it is warm here!! Our grass is still brown..but the odd
fleck of green is showing, and the tulips are ready to burst
open.
Still waiting for a surgery date...so it is always sitting at
the back of my mind. I try not to worry about it being quite so
"involved" as it is going to be...I wish it was just a straight
forward surgery. Oh well. God is always in our tomorrows....so
He was already "here" before I was. I know I can look up and He
is there, look down and He is there, look around and He is
there....that is more than enough.
I half hope that they will delay the surgery until after my
sister in law ( James's wife ) had been and left. I'd like to
enjoy her without the surgery spoiling it. But, who knows,
maybe the Lord has timed it so she'd be here 'for it.'
I am 'holding my weight' on 850 calories, so that's good,...as
they didn't want me to lose any more before the surgery.
It's hard getting many calories in a day with just soup, and a
limited amount that can be pushed down at one time!
Sadly I have been told that the surgery is not a "fix
all"....but a " make it better than it is." It sounds like fish
and chips will be off the menu.. " until I eat it new in the
kingdom" :D ;D
