End of the world?

It's 05.30am on the day after my 80th birthday, and I just awoke
in a dream where myself, my wife Christine, and my two middle
aged children, Chris and Jenny, were standing in the centre of
the field that sweeps down from Chris' house in France.
We were standing beside a small tent and lightening lit the sky
from behind us.
Then suddenly there was a deafening 'explosion' and the sky was
filled with a blinding light, centred from in front of us.
The heat spread and ignited everything including our tent, and
that the world was destroyed, whilst we ourselves also began to
perish.
That's it.....over and out at the beginning of my 80th year.

A belated happy birthday Mike. :)
I guess the old life is over now you have turned 80 and a
completely new you will begin a fresh ministry in a brave new
world.

Dynamic dream Mike. Like Daniel and Joseph said...God is the
one who interprets dreams and hold the answers. I am a great
believer in that, if my Father God wishes to speak to me by
dreams or visions...being His child, He will also tell me what
it means. As James said...it could well be " off with the old
and on with the new."
That fact that both your wife and your daughter were there in it
too, clearly show it is a corporate dream...not one saying that
it is the end 'personally' for you. I have over the years had
similar dreams myself. I usually take them as a- "wake up world
I Am still here" type of dream.
Or...it could well be nothing at all but a vivid dream which we
each also have from time to time.
I do usually feel dreams are for a reason...and the first thing
I say is- " Okay Lord, what was that all about?"...if I get no
response, I will just wait and see if He confirms it to me
somehow, if not, I put it on the shelf right at the back.
He has promised that if we are His sheep we hear His voice...if
He doesn't show you anything more we will just take it as a- "
Look out world, I Am coming soon!" We need that from time to
time.
Personally I do hope that He is indeed 'right at the door' and
all this mess will be rolled up as a carpet. :)
It will be wise to watch and listen, and see if others in the
body of Christ start getting similar dreams or visions.
Oh that gives me goosebumps!!
